What's for Dinner? Put Favs Here

Can I be the appetizer and the midnight snack? I have a feeling we'll be hungry again later on ;)

I added some fresh ginger and Ponzu sauce to it for extra flavor. Came out really good.
Ah, so we'll be working up an appetite, will we? I'll snack on you any time

It's breakfast for dinner tonight. Scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, a bagel and OJ. Wish I had some hash browns to top it off.
I love having breakfast for dinner. Those hash browns that are ready to cook in the pan are really handy, too. Sometimes, I cube up a potato and cook one that way.

Tonight- either chicken fried steak with garlic mashed potatoes and peas, or jambalya (mis spelled but still wonderful) with homemade beer bread. I'm also thinking of fireing up the slow cooker and making 15 bean soup for the weekend.
It all sounds good! I'd have trouble deciding which one to cook.

Well...

Since I can't have you for dinner:devil:, I guess I will have to break down and actually cook something. Thinking Italian sausage and pasta with a light cheese sauce. They make a regional brand here that is to die for. Time to get cooking.

Tonight is skinless chicken breast in orange sauce, brown rice (again), squash, and cornbread stuffing made from scratch.
That sounds delicious. I've been eating the chicken noodle casserole so that's what I'm having, again. But it's so tasty, I don't care.

Hmmmmm I've been told I'm very satisfying ;) and I don't have a lot of calories. That dinner sounds good, too.

That's torture and part of me really likes that, the other part of me just wants to eat you for dinner until you scream:kiss::kiss::kiss:

I better go check on the food.

tonight's dinner is chicken parm with garlic herb pasta, salad, and cheesey garlic bread

Tonight I was thinking Italianesque:
Penne Rosa with Garlic Bread
I'll probably throw in portabella because I'm addicted. Yum.

Thursday night

Well the verdict is in and I won't be fixing that again, sausage was a little too spicey, and the cheese sauce a bit much. Another one to toss in the needs improvement bin.

I shoulda had "Ima" instead:devil:

Tonight: Hamburgers (dry rubbed with my own mixture of spices) and garlic cheddar potatos with salad.

Best meal: Either my shrimp gumbo, crawfish etoufee, or chicken marsalla

Great thread Ima .... I love cooking when it doesn't feel like a chore!

At the moment I am really into making soup, slightly obsessively I have to admit  I've got a big pot of tomato and basil bubbling away right now!

Not sure what's for tea yet.

It was pretty good, but instead of squash I did a squash/eggplant/peppers dish, which was really good.

Since it's Friday, it's "cheat night," so tonight is pizza.

Pork Strips w/ sauteed onions, brocolli & cheese. Yummy !!!!!!!!!!! Home made bisquits & a big old glass of moo juice .

I'm seeing lots of interesting meals here. Speaking of soup, I'll have to put a recipe here I just tried. It's got lots of beans, corn, hamburger and some taco seasoning in it. It's delicious!

Last night was taco al corban- had to take an employee to dinner. Tonight is airport food- probably a salad and a Famous Grouse neat. Late night snack will be oral delight ( tastes great and not filling!)

I think I am going to have to come here when I am needing menu ideas!!! WOW!

It's Wednesday, and the menu says BBQ chicken, salad, green beans, and mashed potatoes. Who knows if that will actually happen. :p

Breaded Pork Chops with caesar salad. Wasn't my flashiest meal, but its good none the less.
