What's the minimum amount of sex you expect from a story?

There is room for both extended plotted erotic stories and erotic accounts of physical couplings on Literotica. They take different techniques to write them and each has value for what they are.

If it's an 'erotic' story, I would expect a minimum of at least one sex scene. Otherwise it would just be a story.

Beyond that, I don't believe there's an objective amount of sex an erotic piece should have. In my opinion it depends on length, the type of story, and how it's structured. I don't mind build-up and character development at all, because it makes the eventual sex so much more powerful. Personally though, I like that build-up to have fair amounts of teasing and enticement before the main event (or events). That's what I tried to do in the first (and as of now only) story I submitted to Lit.
