Since the question was asked by a woman as to how she prefers to RECEIVE a kiss, I will offer a man's perspective on how I prefer to give them.

Like Cate (eveing to you Cate ), I prefer to offer kisses in a combination of the above. For myself, a kiss is an opportunity to give love with my mouth. I mean this in a sensual way. Kisses from me tend to be (not always mind you), soft, sensual with love and affection as you might expect. A chance to sample a woman. To touch her. To kiss her. To inhale her sweet scent. To touch her intimately in all the right places. To explore.

Often preceeded by lightly touching her face. Tracing her lips with my finger tips. Or the soft backside of my fingers. Along her jaw line, Across her eye brows. Over her ears.

Kissing her lips gently. Feeling them, sensing them. A kiss on the cheek. I light kiss on the nape of her neck. An ear lobe perhaps. Slowly, ever so slowly, picking up the pace, the pressure. My tongue reaching out to explore ever so lightly at first, gaining boldness with each purr.

Kisses can easily last minutes, drawing out into hours of touching, kissing, tasting. The most erotic and intimate forelay to be had with your clothes on.

I have known such a kiss.... at the time and in the weeks to follow, I felt so blessed....
at the moment, I'm not sure if it was a blessing or not...
as "we" are no longer.

All of those kisses are nice but I chose a combination of four. I was surprized that I was the only one who chose 'tongue down the throat' so far.
