What's your take on the various types of incest?

I have a hard, mile high brick wall against direct parent/offspring.

Sibling/sibling, cousins, aunt/uncle/niece/nephew, step-whatever is OK though I try to avoid older male >> younger for some reason.

Charli delves openly into indirect mother/offspring with lots of same room, same time, side by side stuff, but no direct contact.

Curiosity question - I suspect most I&T writers are men, but for the women who write in the category, what relationship do they generally write? Does anyone have a feel for that?

I've written cousins, step-brother/step-sister, and aunt/nephew (although not biologically related, he's from her ex husband's side of the family).

I don't buy the "bridge too far argument" for any of it, but mom/son or dad/daughter don't interest me. Never had a story idea where it made sense and haven't gone looking for one.
