Whats Your word?

My word is currently "yes".

Struggling to say yes to life, to happiness, to love, to things as they are. If I learn to say yes, maybe I can figure it out.

Choice

Choice

I don't believe in destiny or fate; I believe in free will, and the power to choose your path. I believe that all choices come with responsibilities which we have to face and accept. Finally, I believe that my choices are what defines me as a person, and that I always have a choice.

One of my favourite quotes on the subject:
"Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms -- to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way." Viktor Frankl
If I had a mantra it would be something like that.

(The automatic spell check doesn't understand that favourite is really spelled with a 'u', but I am fighting back! :) )

The word that came to me after reading your post was "depth"

Have to think about that one.:)

Someone says this to me a lot. You always have choices...you may not like them or they may not always be the best ones...but they are still there to be made.

and minxy my dove... i believe my previous word was 'strength'.

it is now 'indestructible'

how d'ya like them apples ;) xxx

I've tried to think what my word is, but the only word in my head right now is 'Chocolate'

I think you and I were meant to be friends. :p

I checked out this thread when it first came up and meant to come back to see what other people put. I don't have a word, because I don't visualize in words, I visualize in colors and feelings, and have never done well at this kind of thing. (For instance, when shrinks do those word things where they say a word and you say the first word that pops in your head they get frustrated - for on thing a sign usually will pop in my head before a word does).

Family.

I've been realising lately, just how much of my identity is tied in with my family, and our name.

pfft. you've been ignoring me for months... just because i've popped back in for 5 seconds doesn't mean you can go back to being all buddy buddy mr

sheesh.

LMAO

Ignoring you or not spending time on, um, that other place?

There's a pretty big difference, ya know.

Though my identity is malleable, it is actually my only constant.

I can storm, I can babble, I can bubble, I can rush, I can swell, I can crash, I can trickle, I can still, I can clean, I can mud, I can forgive, I can leak, I can freeze, I can hydrate, and I can run.

What is my word?

I am water.
