Hyper-Beer-etry (or: of cervesa and poets)

Poor woman with sore feet, home after work,
She only wants to sit back and relax,
All day long, emails and that beeping fax,
Sending memos out for her boss, the jerk.

A quick foray out to the grocery store
To watch her baby waltz with the produce,
Every turn and spin designed to seduce
The stockboys and housewives onto the floor.

She smiles at the way he reduces the chore
to a series of amusements and loose
laughter, bubbling up through her soul and lips.

His flirtatious stance keeps her wanting more,
His tease makes her beg an uneasy truce,
At least while her suit still sits on her hips.

Dreams of the day she'll be more than a clerk
Helps her sink into her chair and relax
Watching water on her beer dripping tracks
down the glass and hiding her little smirk.

Looking forward to the icy cold sips
Of beverage and reading poetic quips.
