Who do you think will win?

Who will win?

Current polls say the Presidential race is a "dead heat". Bullshit. Polls are worthless these days. Too many intelligent people refuse to participate because of the way that polls have been used to manipulate responders. The polling industry has too much selection bias.

After the actual votes are counted, it will be a definitive victory for Harris. MAGAts will howl that those results don't count, because they don't line up with pre-election polls.
Well, I, for one, will be nervous and tense until the election is over. Maybe even after that for a while.

So it isn't about authenticity....it's about entertainment level of inauthenticity

trump would be entertaining for sure but not in a good way. America is doomed no matter who wins, might a well laugh.

Any late changes of mind? I put $1000 on Harris to win though the odds were a bit better 10 days ago. The margins book offers more scope.

America 1.0, Washingtons America, died in 1861. A. Lincoln failed to prevent civil war. That's one of the top ways the head of a nation can fail.
So, naturally, American history books say he was a great President! šŸ˜‘

America has been something else ever since. In the early 20th century, unconstitutional things like income taxes really violated peoples' rights. Direct election of Senators was also a huge mistake. Many courses were set in the 1910's through 1930's. WWII resulted in a more power-grabbing and downright atrocities by the Federal government. (sick experiments on people, nuclear weapon testing on native lands, etc)

In the 1970's-1990's the federal government and corporations really merged into an oligarchy and sold out American sovereignty for global business ventures.

Then came the destruction of what little was left of our privacy rights with the Patriot Acts following the successful 2001 attacks by radical Muslims.

American debt is massive, the common people have seen the value of their money and purchasing power fall constantly as they work more. The population is only sustaining itself due to immigration as the government desperately brings in every immigrant they can because American citizens have nearly stopped having children.

My point is things are already a disaster. No President can correct all of these issues, many of which were created by former Presidents, their cabinets, and congresses.

It doesn't matter who is the Captain after the Titanic hits the iceberg. Or in this case, dozens of them.

The sun will rise and fall in the sky, but the American empire will continue to fall and we the people will continue our path to poverty no matter who wins the '24 elections.

All of that being said:

I think Trump will lose by 25-45 electoral college votes. He will only win between zero and two of the seven or so "swing states".

My money is still on the dark horse...

The shepherd's bell cow.

Judas Goat

Same thing I said way back when in the early pages.

Both!

There is something endearing about the circus clown craziness of trumpā€¦whereas harris pretends to be respectable, trump has that fuck the rules thing that obviously appeals to the downtrodden hopeless hourly wage slaves.
Respectable even when unintelligible and giggling like a blushing school-girl.

I think that latter part is what has you entranced.

That and the conflict of it all.

I predict that Harris will win the popular and Electoral votes, taking Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Iowa, the Blue Dot, Nevada, Arizona, and North Carolina. Trump will get Georgia and Florida.

It's mid-day on Tuesday and I admit I have no idea. I've been following polls, reading articles, looking at predictions, and most of it seems like a lot of noise to me. I hope the electoral college vote is not too close so we can avoid the nonsense we went through the last time.

Looks like the markets say that Trump and the MAGAs are going to win a landslide victory. Of course, they have been wrong before.

The early returns are showing a big voting swell for Trump. This might be because of new voter registrations as well as R's embracing early voting. If the D's don't turn out today in numbers equal to, or more than, 2020, this looks like a win for R's.
