For me the escapism is important, having a place you can freely discuss complicated and personal ideas you can't discuss anywhere else. An outlet is important.
I like talking to people on here, but I first came here to exchange writing and read the erotica. I stayed for the people. Not to mention all the kinks I've picked up over the years.!

Probably a mixture of both? I like exploring things i like, Or didn't previously know I like. I do also like chatting to new people, some are interesting. I've met someone off here previously which was cool.
So I suppose, in short to answer - Engaging in fantasy, With some real people chucked in too, as I thrive of socialising & Unfortunately in the real world everyone is too engaged in their phone.

Came for the erotic stories, stumbled on to the forums and ampics which allowed me to take my love of photography to create my own thread. Met and connected with some “real people”, even in real life. Then slowly walked away to other adventures. Now I’m back for who knows how long.

People come to connect in some form or another we are social animals we just can’t help it. If they connect with personas who are not totally genuine they are still connecting and finding connection. But then again how many of us have been completely transparent and naked with each other.
