The spreader bar MWY. And probably a really stupid, naive question.......doesn't it get in the way of knees of someone from behind? So unforgiving design could cause injury knocked hard to joints of the spreader, no? It looks very enjoyable.....

It appears that the ease of access from behind would depend mostly on the shape and flexibility of the person being so restrained. In most cases, I think that one could get close enough for all practical purposes.

:D. Ok, ok, I love the sound of it to, I just don't want Elle bones to go crunch snap. I have seen ones with less rigid looking ends than that one, like a bit of chain to the cuff bit, but that one just looks....good.

Yes, this. My preference is for bars with attachment loops near the ends that allow connecting to cuffs with carabiners or similar. This style allows for a little bit of flexibility and movement - very useful for maintaining circulation and joint health in long-term use.

Isn't practicality a little depressing? Sigh. I love the way that one looks. But I think circulation and joint health might have to be considered rather more seriously. The practicality of the idea is dulling the polish off the idea. :(

Indeed, much of what makes life worth living to the hilt is moderately impractical. On the positive side: such a spreader would be a relatively easy piece for a metalsmith to fabricate and including some plastic covering around the "cuffs" portions would greatly reduce the possibility of injury. One could even use a liquid latex product on those parts for this purpose. Even without the protective plastic, I should think one could manage all but the most vigorous use without injury. :D

I'm on my way to Dom Depot later today. Anyone ave any favorite not-obviously kinky items to recommend I pick up?

I recently found out that there are different sizes of bowling pins - there are duckpins, candlepins, and slight width and length differences between ten and five pin pins.

Never thought of using them for anything other than their intended purpose...

/end of thread interruption.

G made quite an effective Breast harness thing, sort of shibari style, out of and old fashioned rope curtain tie back. I have a new respect for tie backs over holdbacks now.

I think I can picture that and the result is quite...decorative. :D

We had candlepin bowling only in my town wen I was growing up. I don't think the Depot carries bowling pins of any size, more's the pity.

Hmm. How's about pain brushes and stir sticks?

Oops, I meant painT. At least I'm pretty sure I did.

I already have a good supply of those in my little goodie bag, but there's always room for more.

Actually, we have to get a wallpaper table tomorrow and accessories . Its a shame you cannot save us the journey out. I spent too long in the car to day and don't want to get in one again soon:(.

I'm so sorry. Yank's Intercontinental Personal Delivery Service won't be open for business for another month. :rose:
