Your Almighty Tallest

Then again it looks like Ahren just doesn't like starting rps..... ever.

No, I don't. Because I'm not a writer. I can't guide a story. I like doing RPs because I see it more like acting. I enjoy playing characters.

Then...and I'm being as nice as I possibly can here when I say this.... QUIT BITCHING ABOUT PEOPLE NOT DOING WHAT YOU NEVER ATTEMPT.

hell you could've simply said you don't want to rather than whine about a lack of interest from others.

Wow really? That was kind of an overreaction there. I wasn't bitching. I was just being honest. People suggest doing it then everyone is like "but hey someone else do it." So yeah it kinda gives off the impression that the general interest is lacking.

Most people here do not have the same approach I do to RPs. A lot of people here actually consider themselves writers, so I figured they'd be more interested in, you know, writing a story.

You realize they consider themselves writers because you know they're writing.... 'acting with words' is still writing.

my point isn't that people don't sit there and moan about not wanting to do an intro. They damn sure do. I have and will continue to hoist that honor off onto others when I find myself without the inspiration or time to start a story. It happens.

My point is that since it seems you yourself have never ever started an rp on Lit, you haven't a single inch of room to speak on the matter.

Let me see if I understand what you're saying:

So people often complain about not wanting to do an intro

but because I don't do intros I don't get to complain.

Even when I wasn't really complaining, so much as pointing out something I was observing.

If what I said hit a nerve or something I'm sorry but it uh honestly wasn't meant to be malicious or anything. If you had merely stated that the impression I had was wrong then I would have said 'okay'.

It's more then simply doing an intro for myself (and I'd imagine others). It's also just not having the time or energy to devote toward running a group thread where you'll have to actively make certain people are posting or letting us know when they're dropping/going on hiatus/stuck at something, finding ways of writing out or around absent players and so forth.

Speaking for myself, I post on two other forums outside of Lit, so I'm actually a lot more busy with writing at the moment then my two-three threads on here may make it seem. Maybe if we had this convo in another month or two from now I'd be more up for running a group thread. But not so much at this point in time.

lol I'm with Lily. A thread was made. Shoo away from my thread and go to the ooc already. :p

Down once more to the dungeon of my black despair!
Down we plunge to the prison of my mind!
Down that path into darkness deep as hell!

I do so love a dramatic entrance.

What I'm trying to say is, I think I'm back, folks.

Wow.. I don't even think I've seen you before, and I've been around for a while.

But, uh... welcome back? :D

I've been absent for a few years and before then only had a very few threads going. Most people I would recognize no longer seem to be active either.
