Not sure this "qualifies" but this did happen in my first semester in college. Our English prof was a barely pregnant good loking lady of 26 (she did tell us her age). Back at home I have a removable shower head (man do I love that shower head) and that does help, but here I'm not quite sure if installing a new shower head (temporarily) would fall under the "residents should not do maintenance" rule. Trust me, if I knew for sure that it would be perfectly okay to do it, I would do it in an instant.

How about one of those rubber hose shower things that fits over the tub faucet? I think they lose some water pressure, but it should still do the trick.

Where would you find something like that? I've heard about doing that before, but I never knew where I could find the stuff to do it with. I would definitely do that if I could get the supplies to make it work.

It should be fine.
I think they mean you shouldn't try and replace the toilet yourself after a night of drunken oil wrestling.

I always sit in the shower. I just aim the spray so it hits from about my knees to my chest keeping my head out of the stream.
