I think that's the biggest difference. A lot of guys seem okay with anyone in the world watching them wank. Typically a woman wants to know the person who's watching her somewhat well before they get intimate.

Much like the real world, I suppose - though there are exceptions on both sides, of course - just like the real world.

That was certainly the case for me, yes. The first person I watched on cam was asking me for a long time before I actually agreed to watch and in that time we'd got a good connection going and I found it really hot to watch! He never got to see me cam but I became good friends with someone else and cammed for him after we'd chatted for a while and it was good. That was months ago and we still cam for each other regularly as well as talking on the phone, each getting more comfortable with it and both happy to cam faces as well as everything else. I would never do that with anyone else.

I've cammed for a few guys I didn't know quite as well and it really wasn't the same. It felt like I was doing it just for them, not for me. If I were to cam for a total stranger, which I would NOT do, then I would find it embarrassing. I don't find it embarrassing to cam for the person I cam for :) We've taken it slow, gotten to know each other and are relaxed with one another. I won't do it just on his say-so though. If I don't want to at the time, I say so. I'll only cam for him when it feels right for me.
