I am going to close my eyes and all you clothes and shit are going to GET IN THE FUCKING SUIT CASE!

Sounds like you need a military duffle bag.

No folding, just stuffing.

I can fit a weeks laundry for two adults and a baby, as well as towels and blankets in one.

ugh. where the hell did all my sex drive go. Don't get me wrong, I'm still enjoying sex. I just...don't really care at the moment. Eh, sex. Eh, no sex. meh. rawr.

Are you tired?
Too much "sleeping" and not enough sleeping?

When it's on tap whenever you want it, it seems less precious/alluring than when it's rationed.

Besides going 'so what's the deal with you and this guy' is there a gentle way to inquire about a person's open relationship? Give me ideas plz.

I am tired and I'm regularly somewhat depressed (not truly depressed, but just kind of "down") at the top of the month. And yes, having sex readily available could be decreasing my desire for any :p

I just feel kinda BLAH. i'm sure i'll get over it

Ask a question that gives you the information you want to know (i.e. how does your relationship work? is your boyfriend/partner/etc. really comfortable with you going out with other people? would you like to go out for coffee/dinner/etc.).

Be clear about what you really want to know, and tailor the question accordingly.

Moved again.

It doesn't get any less pleasant the more you do it.

No but the less you unpack inbetween the less you have to pack next time..
My life mostly sits in totes ATM... & would all fit in a small cube van I have purged so much so many times...

*hugs from a stranger*

Thanks stranger! :)

Oh yes, I know all about purging, lol. It was a big step when we decided to buy some actual furniture instead of using Rubbermaid containers for everything. Someone needs to invent stylish furniture that 'transforms' into moving containers.

Hope life in the Maritimes is treating you well. Here on the other coast we are eagerly waiting for spring to finally arrive...for real.

WTF?

Friday: high, 74º
Saturday: high, 81º - air conditioning on
Sunday: high, 93º - air conditioning on
Monday: high, 61º - heater on (if only briefly)
Tuesday-Wednesday: projected highs, 61º, 57º.

This is how people get sick.

ETA: Yeah, this probably belongs in the pissed-off thread, but I'm too tired and too lazy to hunt it down.

Sounds like us.

75 degrees on Sunday.
Today, snow and a high of 40 if we were lucky.

I've been knocking around on Lit for almost a half hour and I really only got online to check the weather and see if it was warm enough to put my plants outside.

I jumped the gun by almost four weeks getting my plants started, and everything germinated so now I'm sitting on over 100 plants (not counting the herbs and garlics) that I do not have the garden space for. I'm thinking as soon as they are good and strong they will be the topic of a craigslist ad. I was going to take them to the farmers market but the city we moved to doesn't open their FM until mid-July.

If you were in my area, I'd totally come steal a bunch of herbs and shit from you.

Any general recommendations for mint? I was going to get a few mint plants once the local markets start selling and put them in a couple nice big pots so I get these big ol' bushy pots full of delicious spearmint. omnomnom. (seriously, if this stuff's accessible i will eat it with EVERYTHING O.O)

Phone, you are very naughty. You finish checking those MD5 sums right now and install my backup so I can go to bed.

Edit: Oh fuck.

Edit: OH THANK GOD

Oh, how I wish I lived near you! We're trying to start a garden. Well, "trying" may be too strong a word. We've been considering it now for years, and actually doing nothing. I worry about the start-up cost.

Honestly. A garden is only as expensive as you let it get.

If you have access to ground to work, you are set.
If you have a patio see your local restaurants about their surplus five gallon buckets and go container style.

If you want to spend more you can check around at garden centers for nice containers. *Whispers* but your plants won't care one way or the other.

Starting is as simple as some dirt in cottage cheese or yogurt containers or as complex as peat pots and potting soil. Even peat pots and potting soil are cheap. This season I paid 2$ for 40 peat pots and 7$ for a huge bag of name brand potting soil.

This year I "pre-germinated" my seeds because they are almost five years old and I'm too cheap to just go buy new ones when I have so many left. It boils down to wrapping seeds in damp paper towel and keeping it damp until they sprout. That way you know that whatever is using up a pot and soil is going to produce.

If you have any questions shoot me a PM and I'll do my best to answer them.

This year we are in a rental on a half of a quarter acre, so I'm either going with five gallon buckets or a really neat method using pvc pipe; not sure which yet.

Sorry for the going on and on.

Holy crap. Lesson learned today: Just because a hot wire on a horse fence doesn't zap you when you tentatively poke it, doesn't mean it won't zap you when you're half way through climbing through the fence. Also, again, holy crap. It's just set as a deterrant so the hot wire isn't THAT hot...but it was definitely a good zap! Hit it high on my inner thigh too, so it felt like someone THWAPPED my nether regions.

Who the hell knew electricity could feel like a THUD? (rhetorical question) Yeesh. At least the worst damage was do my pride :p (Yes, I was seen looking like an idiot)

Mint is the easiest thing in the world to grow and the hardest thing in the world to stop growing. Do not put it in the ground or it will take over your garden. Confine it to a pot.

Oh definitely!! It isn't going to go NEAR the garden. Besides I'd have to walk farther to get it. I'm going to put it the pots in the corner of our front "porch". This is reassuring. It sounds like a project I can accomplish *plotty fingers*

suuuuuuuuper sleeeeeeepy. never enough time. thank god I am off sunday.

Please stop talking about your ex. We've been together 2 and a half years. To say it's a turn off is an under statement.

*deep breath* I will not argue with people on the internet. I will not argue with people on the internet. Even when people make massive assumptions about people they've never met, I will not argue with people on the internet. *twitch* *twitch*

Sometimes I think a squadron of silent ninjas is hunting me, creating lots of nicks and cuts while I'm not looking.

Where else do they all come from?
