Dreading two more weeks of this morning shit. But after that, I'll start my actual (afternoon/evening) shift on the 19th. Maybe I'll start being functional again after that.

Reaching out to Daddy has gotten me no response since August 21st. Thanks for caring how my job is going.

Trying to get my house clean again so that when I get caught up on all the bills, I can insist that the rental office send some people out to fix a bunch of things.

Thinking of going to visit the metaphysical bookstore in town, too, when I have a little money to spend. I hate being one of those people who goes in a place like that and doesn't buy anything. It's one thing when it's a big corporation, but it's something else entirely when it's a small operation.

Hi Bunny, this made me giggle as I HATE morning shifts as well! I struggle to fall asleep early and tend to stay up till late at night, so it's kinda hard to get up then after 3 or 4 hours of sleep lolol. Definitely LOVE the night shifts the best.

I am glad you found this job and it all goes well so far! As for your Daddy, he does NOT deserve to be called like that. Just saying. I really hope you will find one that will apreciate all your love and effort and will be there for you as you are there for him.

And yes I know you don't want another Daddy, just this one not to suck, but you DESERVE sooo much more than this, Bunny! Just remember that ok.

Hi, guys.

Work is going OK. I feel like I keep making the same stupid mistakes over and over, though. Training ends on the 16th, and then I have two days off. Then, I start my regular shift on the 19th, which I am very thankful for because mornings are the woooooorst. I'm not enjoying the perpetual exhaustion of chronic sleep deprivation here. (I feel as though I should point out that sleep deprivation is considered a form of torture. )

I miss my Daddy a lot. He's having a hard time, and I feel bad for him. But I still miss him a lot.

I need some little time. Preferably *with* Daddy, but without him, if need be. I just need some time to be little, to be a kitten, to not have to think, really. But first, I need a nap.

Only I'm still stuck at work because my car won't crank, and my Daddy couldn't be bothered to offer to come pick me up, so I have to wait until my dad gets here after dark to fetch me and change the battery.

I'm going to echo bfg - I know you are really attached to your daddy and hopeful that he will someday be the man you want and deserve in your life. However...he disappoints you well over 9x out of 10. And this unwillingness to show up when you are having a transportation issue just smacks of selfishness.

I know my Daddy is useless. I also know he's selfish. I just...I don't know. I'm kind of an idiot about him.

I'm safely at home now, though. My dad is staying the night, and tomorrow, we're going to go change out the battery in the car.

My check was more this week than I thought it'd be. (I swear, I think the staffing company just pays me whatever they want me to have. There's no rhyme or reason to it at all.) So I treated myself to steak fried rice and sushi today on my last day off for finishing my training Monday. It is sooooooo good!

I have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. I spent all day yesterday (Tuesday) wasting time dealing with my parents' stuff. It's an hour and 15 minute drive one way, so nearly three hours were wasted just in the process of going to and fro. By the time I got back here, I didn't feel like doing anything, so I just went to bed.

Today, I have gone grocery shopping, cooked enough food for hopefully the whole week, and written blogs for customers. I need to write more before I go to bed, too, because I know I'm not gonna want to do them tomorrow at 11 pm after eight hours of work.

I also needed to clean my house, log into pso, make doctors' appointments, and various other things that I just...didn't do.

And furthermore, I think this stupid staffing company pays me whatever they want me to have on any given week. I worked more hours this past week and somehow made less money. It's frustrating to work this much and still have to do pso because it's a low-paying job.

So, yeah...tired kitty.

You see, I'm having to handle emergency calls. Not a fan of this. Nobody told me when I was hired that's that what it would be, or I probably never would have accepted the job to start with. It's nerve-wracking, and the people are either rude or don't listen to what you say. And there are cameras everywhere. Seems like a lot of bullshit for a measly $12/hr.

I wish I had a part-time job instead. 20-25 hours a week, in the evenings, and then let me continue to write for other people and do pso as well.

I feel bad, like I have no right to feel this way. But I do. I think I'm gonna start looking for something else.

The thing is, I don't drink coffee for the caffeine. Some folks don't believe me. But there's a dozen other ways I could pump caffeine into my system. Coke, Mountain Dew, tea, energy drinks, hot cocoa, No-Doze pills, etc. But there's just no good replacement for coffee.
