Bridget Jones's Diary starts with a Christmas party and ends with a snowy scene so I'm pretty sure it's over the course of a year but I honestly don't remember for sure.

I haven't tried this recipe from their Christmas episode but it looks delish and I love a nut roast (don't start lol).
