I like the joke, and kind of like the song. But… frankly, it is pretty boring to play. Something like Jailbreak is far more fun. Or Thunderstruck, but I confess, I don’t know Thunderstruck already and it would take me more than 10 minutes to figure that one out.

That is a great song, and I am a huge, life long fan of Creedence. But I can’t get that amp effect from those old Fender amps like that… and frankly, they give me a headache. That is a song I would much rather play on my native instrument, which is bass. Sorry.

Those guys were just phenomenal. John Fogerty (in my opinion) is a musical genius of the highest order. The body of work they recorded in a very short period of time is amazing. Stu Cook and Doug Clifford certainly deserve massive respect because they were a huge part of what made that band amazing.

Rolling stones magazine put Fogerty in the top 100 guitarist. AND top 100 songwriters AND top 100 singers!

He is my musical hero. I paid big bucks to see him in Vegas at the Venetian.
