UDPW Day 14: A song involving math in any form you want

Look, counting is math. It's literally the foundation of math. The first thing we learn how to do before we can add or subtract. My favorite thing about this song is that when we were driving home after seeing Hamilton for the first time, having not heard the whole soundtrack, I tried to explain to my partner how this song was the inspiration for '10 Duel Commandments'. She was less than amused.

Generally speaking, I try to veer away from morose songs. Life IS so fucking depressing without our entertainment doing the same thing. But there's a sweetness in this, even if it is fucking sad.

I feel that way too. Especially these days. This stupid funny tweet has popped up in my head every time I've listened to Death Cab since February so that helps balance out their sadder songs.

i was having trouble with this topic and then my brain just clicked...snow white opens on friday and while there is already controversy, rachel zegler is both beautiful and has an amazing voice...sunrise of the reaping, the story of haymitch abernathy winning the hunger games, comes out on tuesday...both of these events reminded me of a ballad of songbirds and snakes and rachel zegler's version of the hanging tree...so erie, dark, and beautiful...
