I knew I was saving it for something special.

We’ll be here to embrace the suck
it is Lit after all
For now, I have an original poem to share ~
to say I’ve got a secret would be a wee surprise
hints and winks beget
a smell I’ll now surmise

we begin,
not today but in the past
at the din,
glistening green veg gone round the pass

a bite, a chew, swallow and through
more times than several
more times than few

morning will come ‘morrow
the ache will soon follow
though your lips are dry,
pressing trickles dareth to floweth thee o’er

nearly forgotten the taste of evening night,
nostrils flaring, ararming,
asparagus, that fragrant delight!

so the secret is out
as the stream recedes
suddenly there’s a thought
what about the green peas?!

Just checking in as I've been a little absent and will probably continue to be for a little longer.

The long and short of it is that in a few days, I have to say goodbye to one of the world's best dogs. Hes been a best friend, protector, mental health support, absolute greedy brat and goodest bois for over 14 years. It’s just really stupid that we get our pets for such a short time.
