I like it when the neighbors drop by to visit. They are quiet and don't stay long.

Not a picture...
But I'm sitting here in the quiet in my living room, and there are owls out in the trees behind the house.
Soon, I'll hear the roosters... I don't know where they live out here exactly, but their sounds carry across the fields.
And in about an hour or so, the cows in the pasture next door will start making their way down here toward the pond.

My cat gets me up really early, and I could use so much more sleep, but I love these early hour moments... The animals outside, the places out here waking up slowly.

I love living 'out' where I can see stars, hear nothing but nature sometimes, see nothing but the pond and mountains in the distance if I don't want to...

Anyway, good morning, y'all...

I have neighbors. Live in a subdivision. Each house sits on an acre or little more, little less, give or take.
We live in the back overlooking ponds and trees and a farm and cows graze in the pasture on the other side of the fence.
There's mountains over yonder...
And it's peaceful.
Beautiful.
The only thing better for me, would be a cabin up on top of one of those mountains.
