I just read through all of it. I sure missed a lot and I was driving it...lol It seems like everyone had a pretty good time.

Firstly; congrats to each and every winner; condolences to the jilted nominees, and hugs to those who; in spite of being awesome, somehow missed being on the radar. I'll say that the majority of winners mirrored my voting, though some were a tough choice.

Lessons learned from this experience:

Next year, participate in this thread on a computer, not a phone.

There were a lot of people who were listed for the Lifetime Achievement award. Done_Got_Old won it again. She is a staple around here. She is awesome and really makes this place better. As does all the other lifers on here. Many have come and gone. Many step out and then come back in. A lot of newbies do not realize what this place was life 4-6 years ago. It felt more like a community. People would hop on each others threads. There wasn't much BS or troll-like behavior. That was left to the GB. Hope some day it gets to that point again. Get to know your fellow people on here. Stop into other threads and say hello. Message those you might have a beef with. Clear the air. Make this place a positive board for people to come and relieve some of their every day stress.

H and I were hugely honoured even to be nominated in such exalted* company. I was amazed this morning to discover that Guy had sneaked in last night like Father Vadge-mas (Santa Vadge? Saint Vadge-olas? ) and put the Golden Vadge for Litster couple on our mantlepiece. As I said to Guy last night before the ceremony, I was certain that aussie's boobs were a shoe-in!
