You may collect your prize spoon at your local ikea. Just tell them I sent you. They’ll know.
Just discovered a hole in our other one this morning, so it was kismet; he had to come home with me. 🐼
The one near us was the largest one on the U.S. and while I’m generally not too grumpy about crowds, something about its maze and/or weird tourist value made people incapable of behaving normally. Moving too, slow, moving too fast, moving the wrong way. I’ve never been anywhere where people bumped into me more. I loathed that place:
Yeah that sounds awful. And, admittedly, I wouldn’t enjoy that at all.
Come shop with me at mine on a Tuesday morning. You’ll love it.

I look at the election results. There is good news and bad news. The Nazis are at 20%, that's terrible.
The Greens have lost, that's bad.
The conservatives are below 30%, that's good.
The left are well in, that's good, the demagogues of the former communists are unfortunately just in, that's bad.
Well, we'll see
For those who don't know the electoral law, anyone with less than 5% is out.

I'm watching the results on the Guardian website, they say Greens at 13% about they're 2021 result so they will likely join with Merz CDU/CSU...that would seem to be a good thing?...........also saying FDP and BSW may not get in over 5%.....good for Greens and maybe left getting in coalition....

The most likely is Union (the conservative parties CDU and CSU which always are together), SPD (the social democrats) and Green.

FDP are so called liberals, but they are economy liberal. That's the opposite of liberal.
BSW is the one woman show off a former communist and now right wing radical.
The Left is former SED from Eastern Germany, but they are totally different now.

Yes, basically the same as now but with Merz leading. But why are CDU/CSU on the outs with Greens.........am reading that if FDP/BSW do not lose that Greens are out...??

The right wing of CDU/CSU, especially the CSU tells people for years now that everything which goes wrong and fails is the fault of the Green (even it's their own doing). They don't want to work with the Green.

It's s question of majorities. There are 630 people in the parliament. If the BSW or FDP are in they don't get s majority with only one partner. If they are out they grow relatively a bit and one partner is enough.

Yes, have read about the blame game...new info says BSW out, below 5%....Die Linke is in at 8.5%, rising from the dead......that might mean Greens are back in....... nothing about FDP....

Well, I wouldn't call it that. I'm just looking at the discussion of all the candidates. They're actually all being very polite and professional with each other.
Of course, they're still squirming a bit, but that's understandable because you don't want to offend anyone you might have to work with.

FDP 4.7%.......BSW 4.9%...... squeaky numbers.......CDU gain 4.6 million votes from other parties.....
