Yeah, I'm starting to shop new laptops on Amazon. Just weird that everything was fine then suddenly 4 seemingly random keys stop working entirely.

It'd because the ribbon with wires for the keyboard has a glitch, several keys are connected to 1 contact....when that part of ribbon screws up all the keys activated by it stop working. It could be that the ribbon connection has come a bit loose from the constant pounding and abuse it seems to have received but they do go bad.....new keyboard is much cheaper than laptop and you can replace at kitchen table............possibly consider a keyboard cover to soften the blows and keep flying s--- from making keys sticky. Laptops are much cheaper on EBay as are keyboards than Amazon, even from the same sellers, Do some comparisons to save $$$$$

New keyboard if it's a laptop, and do an upgrade if it's desktop, go wireless You'll be glad you did!
