Generally fantasy. Just finished a book called This Inevitable Ruin by Matt Dinniman. Book 7 in a series. It is a litrpg book if you know the genre.

I had to look up litrpg. That kind of cool. Is it like choose your own adventure? I'm reading the sequel to six of crows. My middle daughter had been asking me for a few years to read it and it was fun so I'm reading book two.

the first season was hard to follow until you realize that it wasnt in order...you were watching multiple points in the timeline at once. seasons 2 and 3 occur mostly in the present so are easier to follow.
