Wondering who decided 50 was when you become senior citizens. Why not middle citizens since the average age is now over 80 at death?

Laying in my tent, looking at the tea package and wondering how balanced the need for tea and the need for the warmth of my sleeping bag can be. Not for long and the need to pee will have solved that stalemate.
But not now. Now I'm listening to the birds, wondering where I put my underwear yesterday night. Normally, I'm well organized and intelligent enough to place it into the sleeping bag with me, because cold and such. It seems I have to stay in here and wait for the sun, not thinking about running water tabs, flowing rivers, waterfalls....
Stalemate solved.

Ugh! That is an early age to become a senior!!

We got some different age definitions here in Denmark.

Age definitions in Denmark (among others these):

55-59 years, middle-aged, alternatively 45-64 years
60+ years, seniors, alternatively 64+ years
65-74 years, young elderly
75-84 years, old or older elderly
85+ years, the oldest old (elderly)

I might have enjoyed two beers yesterday night. I'm lightweight, so they are enough to make me forget to sort my gear before sleeping.

Well, as you hinted at in your first post, concessions while camping are part of what makes the adventure fun! You seem organized compared to most, and you still found the need to operate outside the norm, and now it’s the subject of conversation with strangers on the internet. How fun is that?!
