What are you grateful for this year

I, too, have had significant loss this past year. As with other trauma in years past, I know that the only good medicine is the love and support of people who care. I am so thankful for those people in my life: my dear family, my friends, my colleagues. I'm also greatly aware of my privilege, and am grateful for that as well, knowing that many are in need.

I am thankful that my family, my friends, and me are all strong, healthy, happy, have a roof over our heads, food in our bellies, and clothes on our backs. I am also happy that humanity has not decided to destroy itself over petty greed.

Health insurance. Managers who are understanding (because I've earned it, but still).

A few good friends who will follow me into the dark as well as celebrate in the light.

And hope. An old, nearly forgotten friend who is making themselves familiar once more.

Uh, yes. Sorry I'm not an 18 year old virgin 🙄
Oh thank god. It's no fun chasing someone who has no idea what they want or what they're doing!

Grateful for friends, family, my job, and simply being able to do most things we take for granted.

Oh, one final thing from me, just to give 2025 the tiny bit of due it earned in the name of fairness.

While this year was bloody, fucking terrible for me I'm grateful that it wasn't for everybody. For all of you that a good or great 2025, I salute you.

But particularly my best friend. She had a double lung transplant and came through flying and strong. If my year had to suck that hers might be victorious, then I bear that weight with pride.

I guess it’s last year now… quitting my job giving me more time for me and my interests has to be the win for me in 2025. If you are in that situation where you are considering a change do it and do it now

I'm grateful for my partners and the relationship we've built together over the years. It has been the most fulfilling thing I could ever have hoped for.

I'm grateful for the "No tax on tips or social security law" - encouraged to Congress and later signed by Trump. I haven't done my taxes yet, so I'm not sure it applies this year.

Family, friends, good health, the natural beauty that surrounds us all, and dogs.

I'm very grateful this year because from January 1st,2026 to today and tomorrow and for as long as possible...I have an amazing man in my life that has helped me see myself, and my potential as a human...
@Lonestar79 ❤️🤠💋

Ps.. He's been amazing in my life since 2024, but the question was about this year 😆

Knowing that spring is coming and then the summer. I hate winter!
I know a lot of folks who dislike or hate winter. I enjoy it! The only thing that stinks for me is dealing with seasonal depression in February and early March. Anyway, I'm glad that spring is coming.
