Trying to wrap up my work week and ease into the weekend. Sorta monitoring teams and outlook, wrapping up a few documents and meeting my neighbor at 5 to take a loot at my log splitter. (This is not a euphemism! )

Literally, my log splitter won’t start.

And I have tons of firewood to split.

EDIT - my neighbor came over after work and helped me get the log splitter started. The lever was stuck in the forward position, creating tension on the hydraulic system, therefore making the pull start extremely laborious.

No gas in the cylinder (which is good), hydraulic fluid level was good. Still no start.

Super easy fix. Move the lever valve to the neutral position! Started right up.

I may be exaggerating a smidge… but it’s been going on for 15 minutes now and all I have to do for work anyway is watch them come in and then file them. Fun Friday afternoon!
