I'm taking a break from crocheting a beanie. I'm sitting in bed watching Expedition X on TV.
Ok real talk...is crocheting a beanie very hard? I failed pot holder 101 and it was more like an odd shaped tea towel. I have a ton of yarn though and saw something about crocheting beanies for newborns. I was wondering if a circular vs linear pattern would be easier to learn.

Beanies are relatively easy to crochet. There are a few ways to make a beanie, but the easiest way is as follows: chain until you have nine inches in length. Then skip one chain and single crochet down the chain. When you get to the end, chain one and single crochet back down. You continue to single crochet back and forth until you have about 21 inches. Then join the two short edges and cinch in one side of the tube. Good luck!
