The worst thing about my weather is that last night's wind chill was -17°C, but tomorrow 's high is +5°C with rain. We lost most of our snow (2 feet) after this happened last week, too. At least the roads are reopened.

Worst sides of winter ☹️

Were getting some above freezing days with rain next week too. And then of course freezing again, and perhaps even some light frosty snow - and that's basically the recipe for dangerously slippery conditions in traffic and for pedestrians, as you certainly know. But we likely won't loose all snow, we have at least 30cm right now. Just the northernmost Lapland has more.

So far, my big void Groot is leaving the decorations alone. He's actually sleeping on the tree skirt right now. He does do a "Catzilla" on the Christmas village. He broke the bear, upended the TARDIS and the Dragon hasn't been seen since Friday. (What? Doesn't your Christmas village have that stuff?)

When I was in the pet shop last week, they were selling Christmas decorations that looked like cat toys; little cage balls and the like. I picked it up, showed it to the cashier and said "Who thought  this was a good idea?" He shugged his shoulders and said "Yeah. I haven't been recommending that for cat owners."

I tend to leave boxes on the floor that stuff comes in for a few days, so my kitties can play in them.

A friend of mine calls any open box on the floor, a cat trap. 🤣🤣
 
Not a Christmas movie, but I am watching Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom tonight. The first time I have seen it in years.

And Kate is locked on that cage… and I am going… oh my… I would like that… 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
 
You know what's crazy? I was awake as long as this thread was.

Going full autistic hyperfocus on assembling Lego for 8h... And then finally noticing I was ravenous and exhausted - no wonder 🙄 Took a while to fall asleep though.

No alcohol for me, but breakfast no. 2 would be nice and wise...
