Just came back from the bar my niece’s band plays at. More of a sports bar, it’s not a great venue for music but these kids really did a great job. There was also a drunk guy who kept bothering her while she was singing and making a pest of himself until he got tossed out. He was lucky because my brother was filling in for the group’s drummer and if this guy tried anything with his daughter that would have been it for him.

Forgot to add: my niece is 25, this guy was easily 40s or 50s for extra creep factor.

@Trubbycat The cool part is your neice playing/singing great music even if the venue was not ideal. The old guy creep shoulda gotten tossed out on his ear 15 minutes sooner than he did. At least. And he was definitely NOT cool.Trubbycat

Trying to get myself to calm down to sleep after an afternoon and evening of solving it issues on laptop. I got the new distro running but there are a couple of programs that don't work yet. Not acutely needed, it's just a good weekend for fixing it as I'm not in the condition to do crafts...

I can't fathom the cold that's in Canada. I have cousins in upstate New Hampshire & Maine that have bitterly cold temperatures but they're used to it.
