Good Morning or whatever time applies...
Last night was hell for Lady K! You see she has thyroid issues, COPD, severe scoliosis, with a kyphosis. I
She was in excruciating pain all day and her meds weren't as effective probably because of the weather.
She has a lot of such days, but some are more painful than others
I feel helpless because there is nothing I can do to alleviate her pain. It's the worst torture imaginable. She turned down a medication that contains fentayl because she doesn't want to get addicte..
I know I can speak freely here, but I'm sorry to say all this. Thanks for being here for me.

I understand completely... I hope and pray that she gets some much needed relief, which will help your peace of mind...

What's the weather like?
It's wet here..very wet. It's been raining for 2 weeks...we're in flood stages now.

It's a boring grey day here, but dry. We might get a tiny amount of rain or slush next week, but April isn't rainy here, and this year it's not even flooding of meltwater.

I'm planning on wearing a scarf around my head tomorrow when going downtown. Partly for warmth, but mostly for keeping the dust out of my hair - though I will likely have to wash it anyway afterwards. And this reminds me to get a mask for protecting my lungs from the said dust.

Busy weekend. Yesterday we attended our local Hands Off rally that drew about a thousand people. Not bad for the suburbs in a purple area. Today was a marathon of housework and I cannot wait to get in the yard and start gardening.

Like you, I'm eager to get home to my Lovely Wife and get our garden in... I'm also planning to build about a hundred square feet of flowerbed off of the front edge of the patio.

Me too. I spend all week on a computer and need to decompress on my hands and knees in the dirt.
