I think this is a great discussion on how to be in a healthy, loving, and working relationship. I do think lots of the toxic portions that you see in relationships is based on prior experiences, poor understanding and maybe a lack of willingness to grow. That also said, you can't be so afraid of your flaws that you shouldnt be finding something that works for you...while working on yourself of course. I admire you for chiming in with such a complete thought on this topic and I agree that conditioning makes our culture so convoluted at times, it really takes a desire to want to evolve and see our human flaws and understand that each individual has the right to feel and express themselves as I believe it's unfair to think one person can meet all of our needs. not to saw someone should run around and be dishonest but be in an open dialogue about needs not being met and if you are on the same page either get there or move on and find happiness without expecting someone else to be the root to all of yours. I can go on here, but I'd rather voice it.
