I think this is a great discussion on how to be in a healthy, loving, and working relationship. I do think lots of the toxic portions that you see in relationships is based on prior experiences, poor understanding and maybe a lack of willingness to grow. That also said, you can't be so afraid of your flaws that you shouldnt be finding something that works for you...while working on yourself of course. And this is about having a partner/partners that are willing to explore and grow with you to find out how to work for each other/others.

Relationships rarely end because couples don't love each other anymore, they just lost communication and desire to re engage at times.

Thanks. Happily, the healing has happened and wifey and I are in a great place. Our relationship is better, stronger, fully open and honest now, having struggled together through my discovery of her infidelity and the aftermath. And she loves her new, ethically non-monogamous hotwife lifestyle.
