'03 Points Possiable

So, as I understand it...

There are going to be 33 catagories, with 3 points for each frist story/whatever for a possiable of 99 points for that....

Now, are the bonus points cumulative? Like 10 plus 20 when I write for 20 catagories? Or is it total?

And, if I earn immunities, but don't use them, do I add those to my score anyway? Tho I think I would need to use them in two catagories.....

And...I had another question, but forgot.



I've started the novellea, since it takes the longst, and have some good ideas perking, and a friend made a speical request when I told him I was entering for himself and a certain celeberity. Tee hee.

each additional story added after the first (which is worth 3 pts) is worth 1 point.

immunities can only be used as that, and you can't add them unless you use them. if you use them to get out of gay male, for instance, but then you write a gay male story, you just ex out the immunity and give yourself the 3 points.

One thing I could not get my head round was when to add in the bonuses. Should they only be applied at the end of the year or are they rolling?

Never worried me because I was too involved writing for a pay check when you overtook me in August / September time.

I'll be playing this year other commitments permitting. - Although from a professional and financial point of view, I would rather I did not have the spare time for Survivor.

When are you posting the 2003 Sign-Up thread?

personally I added the bonuses whenever I could.

I don't think i'm going to get to be moderator - looks like it's going to be a popularity type thing and I don't have what it takes to win that.

If I got an immunity I would most likely use it for the audio, since I don't have anyway to record something. I've already asked a couple of friends for the forgein Lang, so that's set, and I'd prob use one for the non-consenual if I got two as that's not my thing.

I could write a non-con story if I don't get one tho, so it's a good thing we aren't exactly graded on quality. I will, of course, do my best, but....somethings are better and easier written than others.

you don't have to do your own audio - svenskaflicka had other people do her audio for her. you might do what she did and what km did for the illustrated story and just put up some posts asking for help.

I feel tho, if I could SAY what I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to WRITE as well. lol.

I don't think I'll have a problem with the illst. as I was looking over some yesterday and one of them even had a diagram for the shower the scene was set in!

Romance might be hard. What I find romantic others seem to find hum drum, and I"m a bit of a tom boy, so hearts and flowers aren't quite my thing. lol.

Why should the people interested in participating in this contest just pick one person because that person was the first one to jump up and scream pick me! pick me! pick me! If someone else wants a chance at the job, why shouldn't they get the chance to have it? Because you want it? Why does it have to be a "popularity contest" all of the sudden because you weren't chosen right off the bat? Do you actually have that much of a problem with democracy?

A new moderator will be chosen. Anyone interested will have a chance at being the moderator. The entire group will have a say in who becomes the moderator. Laurel, however, is the one who will do the choosing in the end.

There is, quite frankly, no amount of pouting that will change that simple fact.

blacksnake, it has already begun. there may not be a moderator or a score board yet, but don't let that change anything = ) it'll be from the first of this year to the first of next; only submissions in 2003 will count.
