2112: Casting Call

okay. but do i need to control her?

i'm SO tempted to convert to Canada, make her one of the largest super powers in the world... like in WW2... that way is should be...

screw you diefenbaker.... right up the ass. you screwed up canadians in military strength. and we're only NOW just barely recovering.

on a side note, did you know Canada contributed 10 percent of the worlds peace keeping force? lol

Whose got an Avatar?

I've got an avatar!
Go me! It's my birthday!

Woohoo!

p.s. Yes you control the NPC's you're dealing with.

okay.

i like the AV!

i only ask because i don't exactly know the story line, or wehat to reveal to my char. so it might be beter if someone did that.

woohoo thanks. me, not knowing everytig, explaining everything to myse;f would be weird lol

I know I was making up your past, but that is kinda what Kelson is doing, basing it off of sketchy facts in his paperwork...you can still say or believe whatever...so don't think I'm trying to force you to some background.

Congrats Lady_J on getting your AV,

but why the gun though...to hunt down escapees?...

Well, the gun is to destroy evil clones! Woohoo, guess who has tickets for a midnight showing tonight?! I feel like I'm 12.

by the way, read the intro to Cafe Nightshade, it is disturbing to say the least!

Hey, you're online already? Umbelievable...

Love your AV, btw, and guess who has tickets for friday!!!

Well, I didn't go to bed at 5:00 am unlike some people I know.;) Besides, my jerky room mates wanted breakfast.
"Meow meow, feed me bitch, get out of bed or I'll bite your kneecaps off."

From now on, whenever my character tries to use the voice her dialogue lines will be in dark blue, this will not only avoid some unnecessary use of PMs, but it's also faster...

Is everyone cool with that?

PS: Even with no training, and since Galin has been using his powers for some time now, I think that Kelson could at least hesitate long enough for Lauren to go for a stroll around the complex and give him some time alone with Ms. Ray...

PS2: Lady_J: just in case I am allowed to wander, do you have any pre-determined ideal of how the complex should look? Do you have a map or should I make it up as I go along? PM me about it.

Aww Geez

I've been meaning to make a map, but I've been so busy with having no life, that I haven't gotten around to it.

Here is the general layout of the floor you are on (You can't really go anywhere because you don't have the security codes to unlock the elevators)

Sub-Basement 6
The little room you guys awoke in is kind of a holding area/isolation room, if you are bad you could end up back there.
This floor contains the general training facilites for new recruits, there are the co-ed barracks with bunk beds for you to sleep on, there are 5 exam rooms arranged for various tests, both physical and mental, and the doctor has his office here. There is a large conference room which will be used for planning, and a small library on psychic reasearch. Beyond the barracks is a small mess hall, big enough for 10 or so. (The more advanced recruits are housed on another floor.) And finally, there is a large training space, like a karate studio with mats on the floors and various bits of equipment.

Kelson isn't really affected by mental tricks, not that I think there is a readily available rest room sitting around for the characters. That is why he does so well, however...his ability centers around that concept. However, you don't get to see it yet.

I mentioned something earlier about the guards taking something to prevent mind tricks being played on them, DM, wanna say yes or no to that? If it is no, Kelson was just bluffing...but I think it'd make sense. Kelson likes to bluff :)

None readily available...this is a military installation, the only restrooms are, more likely then not, near wherever you will be sleeping.

See, Kelson: we sleep here, got to have rest rooms! but hey, if your character is imune to my power just keep on going, business as usual. I'll just have to deal with it.

Immune isn't quite the right word, but close enough...anyhow, we are in a seperate chamber right now and I'm sure the floor isn't all that small...so it'd be a little ways away -can't afford to lose argument-

lol this is funny, my char is getting into a wuss fight. he would obviously lose, not being trained in all this grap like Fields is.... but still. it's kind of funny. hope it's not annoying you J.

The whole world stops this friday huh! I wonder is the clones would win some...

Lady_J & Lauren, I'm cool with the idea to use blue letters for the thoughts and mind actions of the characters. It really separates the dialogue. Good idea.

I know that I suck in writing dialogue

Righto, that was what I meant to say...Still haven't really got up yet...

The Great and Powerful Oz

Oz says, I don't know about the immunity thing- The Doctor is working on a series of implants that can shut off the function in the area of the brain were psychic abilities occur, that would make you both unable to receive psychic attacks, and unable to do them, but that is in the works for later, as for now the non-psys are our little bitches.

The Great Oz also states that we have lovely rest room facilites, the women's has a nice little setee and a drink dispenser. Floral decore of course.

Oz will remember you said that when it comes time to castrate the males...
