50 First Rapes

Cassy put a friendly smile on her face and said, "Yes, come in, Marcus." Cassy knew she should feel happy to see him from what everyone told her of him. But, it saddened her that she could not remember him.

She sat up and wave him in as the door opened, "Hi there, Marcus. Thanks for bringing that journal. I hope it sheds light on some things for me. I had this terrible dream... At least I think it was only a dream. I think that book will prove that it was just a dream. I am sure concussions can make people have all sorts of dreams."

Cassy nodded to a chair nearby, "Pull that chair over." She could not help but appreciate his good looks. She thought to herself, "I bet I wrote a lot about his body in my journal. Damn, he is so good looking!"

Marcus

Marcus smiles uneasily as he sits down, he was almost sure of the content of her 'dream', but he shook it off and then smiled a bit more genuinely as he handed her the journal. "Well your father brought it I'm just delivering it, and I think you have a nosy nurse." He said sitting back in the chair. "So how are you feeling? Better? Worse? Remember anything?" He asked with barely disguised nervousness.

Cassy saw concern in his eyes. She assumed it was concern for her well-being. Little did she know that concern had more to do with what she remembered about what all he had done to her. Cassy reached over and lightly rested her hand on his, "Your concern for me is very sweet. Thank you." She rested her hand back in her lap and continued, "I am feeling better. The headache is much less now. As for remembering, it is so strange. I remember everything like who I am, where I live, I can remember my family and so on. But, I don't remember you. The doctor says it is because you entered my life so recently. He thinks that has something to do with it. And from what I heard that fall may have actually fixed the memory problem I had that required me to keep this journal."

Cassy sat up straight and looked down at the book. With a nervous whisper she said, "Why am I afraid to look in this book? I mean it is my life. I wrote it." She glanced over to Marcus and back to the book, "Perhaps I should read it alone, no offense of course." She looked back up to him and smiled sweetly, "I will be checking out in two days. I hope you'll come back to see me tommorow and after I get out of here. I would like to get to know you and remember our meetings each day this time." With a blush on her cheeks she waited hoping he'd agree to see her again.

Marcus

The mixed emotions he felt when she explained that her memory problem had been fixed, washed away as she quietly requested to read it alone. Marcus nodded and smiled, "I'll be here as soon as visiting hours start, I promise. Anything you want me to bring with me?" He asked as he stood to walk out the door.

Cassy smiled sweetly, "Just bringing yourself will be enough." She looked to him for a moment and he briefly seemed familiar. But then the feeling was gone as quick as it came. She did however admire his good looks one last time before he left.

After he was gone, Cassy began to delve into her journal again. She choose to just read the dates from the last week. Looking over to a calendar on the wall she ascertained what date the day was. All the ones preceeding had X's on them. She sighed and as she read she saw quite plainly what everyone said was true. She truly did seem to have a crush on him. Her cheeks flushed and she giggled often.

When she was finished she wrote another entry in her journal. Part of it said, "I seem to adore Marcus in my journal. I met him today again. I had a head injury and of course did not have my journal with me to start the day as I appear to need. So, of course I didn't know who he was. He seems very sweet and for a moment today he seemed familiar. But, the feeling quickly faded. I want to remember him form now one. According to the doctors that may be possible. I hope it truly is. He is too cuuuuuute to want to forget!"

Cassy sat the journal down and drifted to sleep. As she slept she dreamed the same kind of dreams again. This time she saw the woman was her. She still could not see the face of the man but he seemed familiar for a moment.

In the morning she awoke to a warm breakfast. As she ate she looked to the doors hoping to see Marcus again.

Test

Just a test. It appears Ravensteel was the last to post. But, when I come to the actual thread I don't see the actual post. Ravensteel, if you were the last to post, please post again. Something seems bugged out. Thanks!

Marcus

(OOC: I posted just before the board changed so my post may have gotten lost in the transition.)

Marcus woke from a night of Nightmares as well, but his were of Cassy remembering all that he had done to her, her declareing that she hated him and would see to it that he would be going to prison. It was with memories of these dreams that he slowly got ready to go to the hospital to see Cassy again, he dressed in a white silk button up shirt, and black jeans, grabbed a few things from the kitchen then hopped in his car and drove to the hospital.

Even as he entered the doors he was still anticipating being ambushed by police, thinking that she had remembered during the night and had already prepared to have him taken away before he even got to start to make things up to her. But once entered he looked around there were no police hiding or waiting for him, none of the staff looked at him with disgust or aprehension. But the clincher was when he was passing by the nurses station and the 'Nosy Nurse' greeted him with a warm smile and waved him through.

Once he arrived at Cassy's room he knocked lightly on the door, "Cassy? You awake? It's Marcus, I've brought cupcakes." He waited patiently outside for her response.

Cassy was pleased to know Marcus had come back. But, when he mentioned cupcakes she had a memory flash of eating cupcakes with him. She said, "Come in, Marcus." When he came in she excitedly said, "I just had my first memory of you. When you said cupcakes, I had a memory flash of eating cupcakes with you. But, the memory was very short." Cassy then giggled a bit, "You don't by any chance bake, do you?" She then waved him in and eyed the cupcakes.

Marcus

Marcus tensed as she mentioned that she had a memory of him, but then smiled as she mentioned them eating cupcakes. "Yes I do bake, whenever I'm bored or nervous, I do it to relax. Soooo, now my kitchen is full of sweets and I have no idea how to go about getting rid of them all." He said with a laugh as the walked over to the bed placing the tray of cupcakes in her lap "Help yourself."

He then pulled up a chair and sat beside her, "So...Did you sleep well last night, anymore weird dreams?"

"No. Not really." answered Cassy. She bit into a tasty iced cupcake, "MMMM..." when she chewed the bite up she said, "Oh Marcus, this is like a piece of heaven! You could totally sell these." She took another bite and moaned with it too. When she finished the cupcake she sipped at some water that was in a cup with a straw.

The doctor then came in and told Cassy that she would indeed be going home that day. In fact, she could go ahead and get dressed and prepair to leave. After he left she looked to Marcus, "Man! I will be so glad to get out of here. I need to call my Dad to come get me. Unless of course you have the time to take me home." Cassy giggled, "According to my journal and everyone else I should be able to trust you."

Marcus

Marcus had to repress a few mental images at the sounds of her moans, not to mention his bodies reaction to them. When the doctor entered he was all smiles as he heard that she would be going home, and smiled even broader when she asked him to take her, "Sure, you can trust me, I'll never hurt you, I promise." Mentally he added 'again', "So come on get ready we can make it a surprise to your Dad and Brother."

The nurse came in soon afterwards and Cassy signed papers. Then, she dressed in the bathroom that was a part of her hospital room. When she was dressed she came out, "Ok. All set." She smiled to him warmly, "Thank you for giving me a ride." They soon found themselves walking out of the hospital and getting into his Vehicle. She turned to Marcus, "You know. You really are a nice guy".

Marcus

Marcus just smiled at the praise, "What can I say, you bring out the best in me I guess." With that he walked with her out to his car and helped her get in, then hopped in his side, as they took off he asked, "So are you sure your feeling up for this, I mean they would keep you longer if you wanted to stay." He asked still very concerned for her well being.

Cassy smiled to Marcus, "Oh, I am ready. Believe me. I couldn't wait to get out of there. How about we go home long enough for my Dad to know I am out of there. Then, let's go to my favorite spot by the beach. Something tells me you probably know where that is. I'd love to spend some time getting to know you outside of a hospital setting or family looming over us."

Cassy put one hand gently on his thigh and smiled to him, "Would that be ok with you? I mean if you have other plans or would rather not, I would understand."

Marcus

He was nervous about taking her back to the beach, afraid that it may trigger some less than wanted memories to surface, but he would not deny her. "Sure I'd love to, just promise me your going to take it easy I don't want you to over do it and have a relapse."

In a short time they arrived at Cassy's home and got out of the car, on the way up to the house Marcus asked, "So should we just walk in or knock and surprise them as they open the door?"

Cassy smiled to Marcus, "Let's just go in, silly." She giggled at him for a moment and walked up the steps. She pushed open the door and looked around for her Brother and Father. When she didn't see them she called out, "Dad? Little brother?" Then they burst from the kitchen with smiles. Her Dad rushed over to her and hugged her, "Oh sweetheart. I am glad you are home. Do you need to go rest?" Cassy shook her head no, "No. I am feeling much better. Marcus and I are going to go relax by the beach." Her Dad looked to Marcus, "I'm not sure that's a good idea." Cassy chimed in, "It was my idea, Dad. The fresh air and the beautiful scenery of the beach will do me much good." Her Dad sighed and looked back to Marcus, "If she starts getting a headache or fatigued you bring her right back." He looked back to Cassy, "I wouldn't want something happening to my little girl." Cassy smiled and hugged her Dad.

She then looked to Marcus with a smile, "Ok, let's go." She led him from the house, down the steps and to his vehicle. She hoped in the passenger's side and said, "Ok, Marcus. Show me my favorite spot by the shore."

Marcus

"I promise that I will not let anything happen to her." Marcus said as they both left the house, then once in the car he hit the gas and sped away, "You sure you really want to go to the beach, I mean I got no problem with going but are you sure you want to head there first." The reason for the question was because Marcus had remembered that he had forgotten to take down his 'toys' from when they had played there last and was afraid that it may cause her memories to come back.

Cassy looked puzzled, "Yes, I'm sure. Is there some reason you don't want to take me there?" She sensed an air of uneasiness about Marcus. His handsome face looked troubled and she did not know why. Had something happened there of importance? She sat back and sighed as she waited for his repsonse.

Marcus

"No, no reason really, it's just that we both left in such a rush, that well we don't have the food for a picnic, we didn't bring any equipment so we can't play any games and we cant go swimming because...well we....forgot swimsuits." Marcus said and then started laughing slightly. "How we met not withstanding, I doubt you want to go skinny dipping, with a guy you barely know, right?"

A memory flashed in her mind when he mentioned skinny dipping. She smiled and excitedly said, "I remember! I rememeber I was sunbathing and you ran up on me naked. I don't remember anything past that though." Cassy blushed, "Um... If memory serves me correctly you definitely have nothing to be ashamed of naked."

Marcus

He smiled at the memory too, but probably for a different reason than Cassy, he shook his head to get the dirty images out. "My shamelessness is besides the point, I highly doubt that when your father entrusted me to take care of you, he intended for me to take you to the beach and prance around naked with you in the surf." They were coming up on the beach now and he slowed the car. "So what's the call we gonna hang here or what?"

Cassy smiled sweetly to Marcus, "Yes, I'd like to watch the sun set with you if that is ok." She rested her hand on his thigh and said, "Relax, I don't bite." With a chuckle she got out of the vehicle and walked over to a sunny spot in the grass overlooking the beach below the short cliff. Cassy patted the ground next to her, "Sit, Marcus. Please."

Marcus

He smiled and walked over to the spot she was at and sat down, looking out over the water as the sun began it's slow journey behind the horizon, it was beautiful something he hadn't taken the time to notice in a long time. "So anything you want to ask me? I mean I remember everything I learned about you, but maybe it would be a good idea to relearn more about the man who you now sit beside?"

Cassy smiled and looked up to him, "Well, I know you have been very kind and caring about me. I also know you like to cook. But, that is all I can remember at the moment." A sharp pain then filled her brain as she clutched her head in her hands. She moaned out from the pain and then a memory was revealed to her. She heard the voice of Marcus mentioning something about a woman who hurt him. The pain then subsided. She looked up to him again, "I had another memory flash. There was someone who hurt you. A woman who hurt you had to of been heartless. Tell me about her."

Marcus

Marcus was concerned when she gripped her head but it seemed that it was a side effect of memories coming back in a rush. He frowned slightly at her question but began explaining anyway, "She only started going out with me because I was well off, figured she could just spread her legs and get anything she wanted. I, like a fool, couldn't see her intentions, I thought she loved me...like I loved her. Then I found out she was screwing around, when I asked her about it, she said 'Why do you care, you have your turn too, it's not like your not getting any benefits out of our arrangement, you get pussy I get money. Fair's fair, right?' "

Marcus shook his head, "I didn't go out for two weeks after that, I hated her, but I hated myself even more for falling for her. It was because of that I hardened my heart and that I began to....began to tell myself I'd never fall in love again. But hear I am, falling for an angel whose kind heart and warm smile melted a cold heart of ice." His face was distant, but his thoughts were cursing himself, 'I almost said it, to her face that I raped girls, goddammit I've got to watch my mouth.'
