In March 2020 there were no vaccines or widely available treatments for the highly contagious Covid19 viruses. PPE stockpiles were soon depleted, and healthcare professionals and emergency responders were wearing garbage bags and homemade face masks. Medical facilities were scrambling for beds and rooms, and failing to isolate their patients from each other.

The lockdowns were phony, politically motivated, and absolutely bull shit. Being a firefighter/EMT I was never locked down as my job was considered essential. But the way things were locked down was illogical and completely unfair. I would drive by big box stores and see hundreds of cars in the lot because they were NEVER locked down, but the mom and pop corner store was, the restaurants were, most small businesses were, well except for liquor stores. WHY? Why was it okay for a couple of hundred people to be in WalMart, but not 5-10 in a mom and pop? Why not limit the number of patrons in a restaurant instead of closing them? It made no sense at all and painted the picture of an attempt, either overt or covert, to decimate small businesses. No one was prevented from staying home if they wished but many were stopped from working, going out, just plain living, by a ridiculous, poorly handled, mostly unnecessary, restrictions and lockdowns.
The lockdowns were not phony. They literally were to prevent people from dying. They were not rolled out well, because the communication from top to bottom was difficult and poorly executed. Mostly it was because people needed shit and locking everything down was incredibly difficult.
They were phony. A lockdown is a lockdown. Everything closes and everyone stays home. No "special" exemptions for some businesses. The way to do it would have been to tell everyone as of X date until X date no one will be allowed out of there homes other than for emergency medical treatment. Stock pile food and medicines and assume you will not leave your home for 15 days. Not bull shit some things are closed, some are open, some can work, some can't hypocrisy. EVERY BUSINESS IS CLOSED AND EVERYONE IS LOCKED DOWN.

People were free to come and go as they pleased, and many did to WalMart, other open big box stores, and any exempted businesses. A lockdown means NO ONE travels, NO ONE goes out. This was phony feel good nothingness and in fact forced lockdowns in nursing homes in New York led to more deaths of elderly by rapid spread of covid amongst an already compromised population. Calling it a lockdown is an improper use of the terminology since a true lockdown never occurred country wide.

Honestly the lockdown all of YOU claimed was implemented. But facts say it never truly was a lockdown. Even your minion friends can admit that. No one was mandated not to leave their homes. No one was told they couldn't get in their car and drive anywhere they wanted to. No one was told they couldn't go to any open store and shop. Sounds like a phony lockdown to me. Hell even Fauci didn't stay out of the public. He went to a baseball game and was photographed not wearing a mask when he was telling everyone else to wear one.
