A Covid Science Update

So what? I never blamed it on either president. I place the vast majority of blame for the fiasco named covid on Fauci. He advised both Trump and Biden.
It was the individual governors that pulled that phony lock down shit. Some did, some didn't and there were virtually no differences in the end results.

And, for those Democrat governors, that may have been a goal for economic hardship creates the power of governmental largess (which, in turn, drives inflation; rinse, lather, repeat).

Similarly, keeping children out of school creates a dependency and voter block of the illiterates, easily swayed by propaganda. The only downside to that one was that it left children in the hands of domestic terrorists – their parents.

Just reminding you, in case you decided that you needed to blame the current President.

It wasn't phony. It was an attempt to keep non sick people away from sick people.

In other news, the Zuck has been forced to confess that in his zeal to support the Deep State and increase the power of the politicians that he is beholden too, he labeled true Covid claims as misinformation.

From the very beginning, I opposed the "temporary" lockdown because it would never be temporary and it was an assault upon our liberty and was not only an economic killer of worse proportion than the actual "pandemic" but led to a cripple and persistent inflation. It was as well a great retarder of our children that no amount of drag queen shows will ever be able to overcome. One step closer to Idiocracy.

🤬
So, you , "opposed the "temporary" lockdown because it would never be temporary" except that it was temporary.

Most people don't brag about being wrong, but you do you.

A major study into the impact of the pandemic on Amish communities has found that Covid death rates among the traditionalist groups of citizens are 90 times lower than for the rest of America.

The main difference, the study revealed, is that Amish communities completely ignored the guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Amish families did not get vaccinated or wear masks, nor did they engage in lockdowns, social distancing, or any other type of restrictions.

But the separated communities didn’t avoid catching the virus, however, as roughly 90% of the Amish have been infected with Covid.

Your lives were destroyed by a political myth and the Unconstitutional abuse of power all the way from the unelected bureaucracies to Blue Governors and Mayors. Who got hurt the most?

The children.

Yes, of course that's the reason and not anything else.

Oh, and look....not a single source of the study to be found....guess it's not major enough.

Let me get this straight. Your "major study" was conducted by the anti-vaxxer group "Vaccine Safety Research Foundation." I can't find any links to this "study." But noted anti-vaxxer and COVID misinformation propagandist Steve Kirsch (not a doctor, by the way) went in front of the Pennsylvania State Senate to declare he "did the calculations." Also according to "Slay News," "Later, Kirsch also noted that researchers were unable “find an autistic kid who was unvaccinated” in Amish communities."

Do you want to be taken seriously?

LOL. A study? Really?

I've got an open mind. Several times, when hearing a claim like this, I will track down the study to "do my own research." Imagine my "surprise" at having trouble finding this "study". Can't find what journal is was published in or anything. Then, I track down the info that the "study" was conducted by the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation. This was founded by the well-known anti-vaxx individual, Steve Kirsch.

"In May 2021, Kirsch posted an article online claiming that COVID-19 vaccines affect fertility, while also underplaying the vaccines' ability to prevent illness and death, both statements criticized by fact checkers as being inaccurate and misleading.[14] In September 2021, speaking at an FDA meeting and identifying himself as CETF's executive director, Kirsch claimed that the vaccines "kill twice as many as they save"; the FDA responded that Kirsch had misinterpreted data and that there was no evidence his statement was true.[11][15] Reuters assessed the claim as false.[15]

In October 2021, Kirsch founded the anti-vaccine group Vaccine Safety Research Foundation (VSRF),[16] which created ads depicting deaths the group attributed to vaccines.[17][18] Foundation advisors include Robert Malone, Peter McCullough, and Stephanie Seneff. Before this, in June 2021, Kirsch had appeared with Malone on the Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying podcast, which according to MIT Technical Review "introduced Kirsch to followers of the 'intellectual dark web'" and allowed him to access a "large and receptive audience to his claims about a fluvoxamine conspiracy".[11]"

I still have an open mind. If anyone has any actual data to demonstrate their COVID claims, I'm more than happy to look it over, but this so called study is laughable.

If the article doesn't include the study, then I immediately ignore the article

Hitchens Razor in full effect. A claim made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

If you truly had an open mind you wouldn't discredit a study based on your personal dislike of the study's creator or methodology.

What you show is bias. Bias against new information which shakes the foundations of your beliefs. This is self evident and speaks against you having "an open mind."

Here’s a study of death rates in Amish communities.

https://plainanabaptistjournal.org/index.php/JPAC/article/view/9101/7775
A more detailed review of the stated causes of death in November 2020 revealed no obvious patterns. In 73% of the cases, the cause of mortality was unstated. In addition, general statements of cause of death accounted for 10% of cases being listed as a “brief illness” and another 9% indicated a “lengthy illness” as cause of death. It should be noted that COVID was only mentioned three times in the obituaries section of The Diary for Amish deaths from 2014 through 2021.
