~~~~A fallout in Medival times~~~ OOC Thread (Open)
So we can make our own factions or we don't and just get along with the hack and slash of every creature that preys on two legs?
Sly, I'm assuming your character ran into the main group camped on the borders, not the scout party swimming up the river right? Just wanna make sure before I post anything.
Name: Captain Noleon Rade
Age: 27
Physical appearance: Nolean stands at 6'5" and has pale skin. He has well kept long black hair as well as a goatee (think Dorian grey)
History: Nolean Rade was the bastard son of a dock whore and a pirate. He lived in a brothel with his mother until the age of seven, when his mother was killed by one of her patrons. He spent the next five years of his life living on the streets of Zedion, begging and stealing to survive. At the age of thirteen Nolean's father returned to the city aboard the same ship he'd been crewed to when he sired Nolean, The Reflecting God. Nolean snuck aboard the ship and revealed himself to his father once the ship left port. Nolean's father planned to throw his bastard son into the ocean, but after the boy swiftly escaped and climbed the mast, Nolean's father decided to raise his son as a pirate. Nolean spent the next five years of his life learning all the necessary skills to be a pirate. When The Reflecting God returned to Zedion Nolean found the man who murdered his mother and killed him. The next two years of Nolean's life were enjoyable, he spent his days with his father and fellow crew, plundering, pillaging, and causing general mayhem. These times didn't last however, as a group of mutineers killed the captain and Nolean's father. After a long and bloody fight aboard The Reflecting God, only one man remained alive; Nolean. The young man managed to single handedly pilot the ship back to Zedion, where he broke into a prison and released all of the inmates for his new crew, The Children of the Damned. He spent the next five years plundering the mainlands and gaining ships, crew members, and infamy. At twenty-five Captain Nolean Rade was one of the most wanted men in the allied kingdoms, so he left. He took his crew to Disaster Land where they took over the Firran's jungles as well as a small chain of islands. This has been Rade's territory ever since.
Territory: In the time The Damned have spent in the jungles, they've built roads, outposts and inns all throughout the area. The inns all have brothels filled with (mostly Firran) women, as well as fighting pits where anyone can compete or bet on the fighters. Anyone is welcome to come into Rade's territory as long as they announce themselves at a border outpost, and disarm. The capital of Rade's territory is the small city of M'wave. It's located on one of the central islands, and is where Captain Rade can usually be found.
Crew: The Children of the Damned are a highly organized and skill group of criminals. Due to Captain Rade's skill at making money the crew is well armed and trained, making The Children of the Damned equal to a small army
Anyone can join The Children of the Damned regardless of their race or homeland; they just have to be useful.
Equipment: Nolean carries a straight saber with a ruby pommel, a pistol crossbow, and his fathers seax knife
He usually wears loose fitting black or grey trousers, and a large black trench coat. Depending on the occasion he may or may not wear a shirt. In combat he wears a leather breast plate and leather gauntlets
Ships: The Reflecting God
The Whore's Kiss
The Kraken's Beard
The Black Angel
The Nameless
The Lurking Fear
The Firran's Tail
I didn't see your post until I posted my new one Lucas. I'm just going to say Rade doesn't know about the attack on the outpost yet. You can deal with the ambassador or you can kill him. He's just an npc, but killing him will probably start a war.
Yeah, the crocs aren't really trying to be peaceful about this one, they basically wanna exterminate the non-beast races from the lands, unite the other beast races under their rule then start invading the mainland and enslaving the "civilized" races. Basically doing everything that they speak against, they're kinda dicks. They might try and play nice for a bit to use the slavers in the beginning though.
Rade will sell out the civilized races as long as there's profit in it for him. He's only loyal to his men, he's very money driven lol.
Oh well they should get along well then, one driven by mo ey the other by power lol
Nolean was driven by power, by now he's happy with the level of power he has. He's content to just sit back and enjoy the spoils of his many victories. He could be convinced to lend his army to someone's cause (for a very high price). Also it would be a very bad idea to betray him, he holds a grudge lol
Name: Fangore K'lik
Age: 21
Race: Wolf
Class: Spellsword
History: Fangore was born in the Year 22 into a small wolf tribe in the northern part of the desert. His pack was well versed in the ways of magic, and he became quite skilled at the arts, combining magic and sword arts into one. He learned how to hunt in the desert, honing his skills for survival in the harsh environment as he grew up.
His father took charge of the pack, growing in power and wealth. The pack took over the northern half of the desert until treasure seekers invaded, trying to obtain wealth for themselves. Skirmishes broke several times in the desert over the valuables between treasure seekers and the wolves, until Disater strikes. A strange disease struck Fangore's parents, leaving the pack leaderless. After fighting several bloody fights for leadership, Fangore took his rightful place as pack leader of the Northern Desert pack.
His battle armor and weaponry are in the picture.
Would anyone be interested in making a Firran character for Nolean? She'd technically be a slave, but he'd treat her more like his queen than slave. He'd buy her fancy dresses and jewelry and be nice to her.
Don't worry about it lol. Eventually you'll get to the point where you can have multiple characters. Maybe someone else will fill the role
I don't mind playing female characters if you can't find anyone else to do it but I'm sure you'd rather have a female playing the character.
Now how to bring in my guy...maybe a scout gets winds of the gathering forces...
We could say the Crodiles are sending scouts to all the territories, their main forces are just massed at the borders of the jungle. Maybe the dog people run into one of their scouts?
If their is still space i'll like to take up a role.
An elven mage who is the son of the elven leader. I just don't know where the elves terrain exist.
