Kaila laughed and said " Ewww Alex... I did not want to imagine that!"she said holding her stomach and looked smirking imaging her mom dancing . She would have been excited about her having a baby and especially if it involved shopping.

"Yeah mom would've loved having another baby to spoil rotten" she grinned

Laughing at her expression Alex shook his head and went back to eating.

"You know, I think it would make your parents really happy if we named the baby after them."

Looking into her eyes he smiled.

"What do you think?"

Kaila smiled and said "Actually...I was thinking about giving the baby my dad's last name along with yours and maybe my mothers middle name if it is a girl? "

She smiled saying "We need to look for names"

Alex smiled and kissed her.

"Sounds like a nice way of doing things."

Looking down at his plate he saw it was empty and one of his raviolli just vanished into her mouth. Smirking he shook his head and grabbed the dessert bag.

"Still got room for dessert? I got one of everything off the menu."

Kaila said "I think i have some space Alex...Anything chocolate baby... or lemon"she grinned and kissed him softly taking a sip of the drink and patting her belly.

Opening the bag alex pulled out chocolate cake, lemon meringue pie, caramel bars, double fudge brownies, tiramisu and triple chocolate cheesecake.

"Hmm... chocolate or lemon..."

Taking the pie, cake, brownies and cheesecake out of the bag he handed them over to Kaila leaving him with the caramel bars and tiramisu.

"How does this look?"

Kaila gasped and a smile lit her face she went for the chocolate cheese cake and dug in. They had enough food for week and the fridge thankfully was still at the house and running.

She smiled between bites and said "You want to go into town and look for furniture and paint for the house? I want to redo some things but not everything"

Alex chewed his mouthful of caramel and nodded.

"That sounds like a good idea. The paint needs to be touched up in the living room and kitchen and I need to repaint the outside... a lot of it has peeled from weather."

He took another bite and smiled.

"We need to get some baby furniture as well and didn't Mrs. Goldstein have a baby boutique years ago? I wonder if she's still in town.."

"I think her sister Gale is running it because she moved. I saw it on my way back in town" she smiled

" I have an appointment with the doctor at 7 in town as well so that would be great"

"Sounds like we have a plan then."

Looking around and seeing the food was gone, Alex cleaned up and took the trash to the can out back then walked back in and snuggled up in bed with her.

"So first thing would be checking in with your doctor to let them know we're in town, then we can do the shopping and can have it delivered here, then we can drop in for the appointment."

Kissing her hair he grinned.

"How does that sound?"

Kaila smiled and said "That sounds perfect baby"

She sighed snuggling against his chest and yawned softly." I think we should start with a neutral color and add to it when we find out the sex of the baby."

Wrapping an arm around her he kissed her hair.

"Like green or yellow?"

He thought about color combinations and wondered if that would work or if more earth tones would be better.

"Or would earth tones be better like tan and light brown?"

She smiled placing a soft kiss on his chest and said"I was thinking earth tones baby tan sounds pretty maybe a sandy looking color? Itll be pretty"She grinned and hugged him tight to her. "mmm you feel so warm"

"Tan or Sand would be a base color and we can add blue or pink to it later on. You're so smart baby."

Looking at her with a big grin on his face, Alex kissed Kaila and pulled her closer. Taking her in his arms, he rolled on top of her and began to kiss down her neck to her breasts.

"Your breasts still amaze me."

Nipping and kissing at them, he licked his way to her nipples and began to tease them

Kaila grinned and gasped saying "Mmm perks of being pregnant...instant boob job" she giggled "Not that they werent great before they're just...fuller now"she smiled looking at him and groaned saying " Mmm Alex if we keep this up we won't make it into town baby"she whispered as he kissed down her body.

Smirking he took one long suck on one of her nipples then climbed out of bed.

"Ok.. let's get dressed then sexy."

Helping her up he moved to check on the clothes and found they were clean and dry. Putting his on he gathered hers up and brought them to her.

"I come with clothing, milady."

Kaila grinned and said "Thanks baby I was wondering how id get to town? Maybe we can head over and get some clothes and come back to the house I was kind of comfortable there and dont want to go to our apartment so soon."

Alex smiles and gets an idea.

"We've got about an hour and a half before your appointment. Why don't we run back to your place and grab your clothes then run to mine and I'll grab mine.. then we can come back here and I can move out things here a bit at a time later on."

Kaila grinned and said "ok baby that sounds good and we can get some comforters from our place and things for the bathroom in the guest room so we're a bit more comfortable in the house and maybe we can get some furniture delivered to the house for the living room?"

"We can get all of that and I can get the furniture organized and moved over in a few days."

Smiling Alex took her hand and led her outside to the car then drove them back to their apartments.

"Why don't I grab my clothes and bedding while you grab yours and we can cut the time in half.. then take everything back and place them in the bedroom to sort later after we get done shopping."

Smiling he leaned in and kissed her them pulled to a stop in front of her apartment, parking in an empty slot. Opening the door for her, he smiled then ran over to his apartment while Kaila went to hers.

Inside, alex grabbed all of his clothes and put them into his luggage then grabbed his bedding and towels and placed them into the large rolling camping chest he found on sale, then threw a couple of pots and pans in as well before closing it up and walking back to Kaila's apartment.

Kaila grabbed her large chest packing pot holders, towels, bedding comforters , a rug, changing her clothing and packing alot of outfits and pajamas. She also carried some her perfumes and soaps and hair products.

She looked out the window seeing him pack the car with his things and smiled and seeing he had as much as she did she figured they would be staying at the house a while.

After loading his things into the trunk of the car, Alex headed inside to check on Kaila.

"Hey baby.. I got my clothes and things all fixed up in the car. Do you want me to load yours are are you still packing them?"

Kaila smiled and said "Im finished baby... maybe we can pack this in my car and I can drive over to our house."She said

"Then we can unpack and take your car into town and find out what im having" she grinned

alex nodded.

"No problem."

Smiling he grabbed her things and packed them into her car then leaned in and kissed her lips.

"I'll see you at the house and I'll unpack there.. then we can go to the doc."

He watched her get in her car and made sure she was ok before following her to their home in his.

As they arrived, Alex parked next to her in what would be their new home and began to unpack the cars.

"Head on inside and rest love. I'll get these really fast and then we can go."

Unpacking her car first, he placed everything in the living room so they could sort it later... then did the same with his things.

When done, he wrapped an arm around her and smiled.

"Ready to go see if we're having a girl or a boy?"

(did you notice the having"shaving" part? wasn't sure if that was typo or sexy mental imagery to get me all worked up)

Kaila smiled and said "As ready as ever baby..that will make shopping much easier by the way"she grinned rubbing her stomach with one hand and holding his hand with the other.

She followed him to his car climbing in and getting comfortable excited for their trip in town.
