A hybrid comes to have the blood of one. (Male needed, vampire/werewolf hybrid 1x1)

"Thanks for the warning, I'll watch out for her. Though I imagine you get a fair bit of attention yourself."

The comment alone was enough to make her cheeks burn, colour flooding to them as her heart fluttered briefly in her chest. She glanced at him only for a moment, as though to make sure that he wasn't looking at her to see the deep blush on her cheeks, only then looking out the window as he sped away to the part of town that wasn't very frequented.

When they pulled to his home she took in the structure first, nearly shuddering at the coldness of the building. She barely even heard him speak as she studied it, stepping out of the car with a fluidity that wasn't really seen among her kind before shutting the door behind herself, following him into the large house.

When she walked inside it almost felt too good to be true. Despite the look of it, Emma couldn't help but just swoon in some sort of jealousy at just how beautiful it was, and could be.

"Well..it's certainly depressing.."

The comment was offhand and she stepped away from him, moving slowly up the left staircase, her eyes shutting as she let her fingers trace cautiously along the railing. She stopped about mid-way up before opening her eyes and turning to face the front door.

"…Standing here…you could be introduced. And despite the introduction you'd still have your mask on..they wouldn't know what you even looked like until the end of the night."

Emma slowly made her way down the stairs, trying to imagine it illuminated and full of people - full of beating hearts and life.

When she reached the foyer again she couldn't help but sigh, almost laughing at the state of the place. "Do you sleep on a dust-covered bed too or did you at least manage to clean up that part of the house? Oh and is the food molded over, too? Because…from the looks of the place..no one is living here or has lived here in a really long time."

"Well..it's certainly depressing.."

Charming. Not that he disagreed, he could almost feel the stories of this old house. He had to admit she had a great sense of vision and ambition. Already planning out the ball in her head. Her minds eye was clearly already visualizing it and he couldn't help but join her. He had seen enough balls and parties over the centuries to have plenty of experience with them, including several in Venice and Italy, the origin of the Masquerade. The idea of crowds of people, sparkling masks, flowing dresses, it was a return to a life he had been used to for a while.

"Do you sleep on a dust-covered bed too or did you at least manage to clean up that part of the house? Oh and is the food molded over, too? Because…from the looks of the place..no one is living here or has lived here in a really long time."

He stood waiting in the foyer while she climbed the stairs, watching her go up. Examining her, examining her movement, her body. She was attractive, in an understated way that only underlined and enhanced her beauty. He swore inwardly, he should have got some food in the place, if he was to keep an image of humanity he had to maintain that illusion, he could survive on human food technically, but not for long and a huge portion of his powers were dependent on his continued intake of blood. Though to resist the urge to drink when he needed to was a feat of willpower he didn't need all the time. Even so, she was particularly desirable, even to be in the same room as her tested his strength considerably.

"Yes, I cleared out a couple of rooms on the upper floors. In terms of food I've just been going out or getting stuff delivered. Not really had time to buy much."

"Yes, I cleared out a couple of rooms on the upper floors. In terms of food I've just been going out or getting stuff delivered. Not really had time to buy much."

Emma could feel her nose scrunch up at the thought of eating out and getting delivery every night, actually raising an eyebrow at him before shaking her head and moving away, eyes still taking in the place.

"It's definitely big enough to have everyone here who would want to meet you..Do you have anyone in particular that you're going to invite? Maybe you could get me a list."

She was thinking out loud, really, measuring in her head how many people would fit in each room. Stepping into the kitchen, Emma was pleasantly surprised by the size of it, turning quickly to return to the main hall as though not needing to see it.

"You may want to open up the study…just keep all of the doors open so that if people want to wander they can. They're going to want to learn as much as possible about you in a short amount of time…and in order to do that you're going to want to keep out only what you want them to know. Mystery is always good. You'll have a lot of that anyway with it being a masquerade.."

Emma approached him then, standing in front of him for a moment, her head tilted back slightly in order to look up at him. "Alright…so. We can definitely fit…two lines of couples to dance.." She was measuring herself and him together, turning away from him for a moment to gauge the rest of the space. "Is there anything in particular that you want to see done to the place?"

Shit, no, she wasn't, concentrate, not now

She was stood in front of him, almost as good as offering her throat to him. It took him a moment to realise that she was still speaking and he dragged his thoughts away from sinking his fangs into her neck back to what she was saying "...want to see done to the place?"

"Not... really, I'd rather kind of have it restored. See what it used to look like in it's heyday."

Mystery, I can do that

"And if it's warm we can set some stuff up in the courtyard, there's plenty of space there and there must be a few events companies with Marquees and stuff we can hire."

He looked at the foyer with the image in his head of it busy once again, people laughing, joking. Like her he was measuring the two of them together, he would need someone to take to the dance after all.

"Since you're offering all this help, and you seem to be taking over the organisation side of things, how would you like to be the hostess?"

Restored. She wasn't sure they'd be able to get all of that done by the end of the week but as he spoke she was trying to figure out a way to get as most of it fixed up as possible, deciding that they'd need to get the marble floors cleaned up, everything polished and shining like new. She didn't know how old the house was, but it certainly would need all hands on deck.

"Since you're offering all this help, and you seem to be taking over the organization side of things, how would you like to be the hostess?"

Emma turned to face him then, unsure of how she was supposed to answer him.

"I don't mean to be taking over..obviously if there's something you would want done you can just..make a list and I'll call in everyone I know who would be willing to help..and they'll make it good as new."

She nearly beamed as she continued, the healthy flush returning to her cheeks.

"If I were the hostess…I would be stealing your thunder…you wouldn't want that. And…if I'm the hostess, how can I make a grand entrance? Unless that's your way of asking me to accompany you so that you don't look like the newest, most wealthy bachelor on the block. In which case, you'll definitely have to think a better way to ask because that was just awful.

Again she turned away from him but the smile remained on her lips as she continued.

"No I think I'll wait..let people come and be awed by everything..be awed by you…and then I'll show up…when things have died down a little."

"No, I'm no good at this sort of thing, you said you would help, perhaps it's too much responsibility, I'll get someone else. I just didn't want to rely on you so much and then not let people know who was really responsible for the ball."

He didn't seemed to have offended her, rather, she was playing hard to get.

"Unless you want your grand entrance, in which case, I can help you with that to show my gratitude."

But back to getting this ball organised.

"I'll be inviting a few friends, but if I'm inviting people from town then my knowledge is probably limited to a couple of people from last night and the mayor. I might just have to send invites to everyone."

He was already working out who he could call in, Henry and Sean would come, though Sean may be more of a liability than a help with the full moon so close. There may be a few others, but it wouldn't come to more than half a dozen if he was lucky.

Emma couldn't quite help her smile at this point, really because she was having too much fun, but also due to the simple fact that he really did seem hopeless with the entire planning. At least she knew that she was needed.

"I'll be inviting a few friends, but if I'm inviting people from town then my knowledge is probably limited to a couple of people from last night and the mayor. I might just have to send invites to everyone."

"Yes, definitely you'll need the mayor."

Again she faced him, watching as his own eyes scanned over the room. She found herself almost transfixed as she watched him, finding it hard to look away. Again she found herself drawn to him, some terrifying magnetism that she didn't understand, actually leaning against the wall in an attempt to keep her distance.

"I..can get Charlotte to make up a list. You don't want everyone there, trust me. Some of the locals are a little on the strange side and would end up making it a disaster..I was..joking about my grand entrance. Partially…"

There was a mirror hanging on the wall opposite her and Emma crossed to it immediately, frowning at her own reflection, her fingers tracing the bandage on her head, holding her bad wrist at her side.

"Hopefully by the end of this week some of these cuts will have healed..Not to keep my vanity intact or anything..but it's really not the best look. For anyone for that matter."

He laughed "only partially?"

Hopefully that mirror wouldn't be too much of a problem, Dimitri showed up because of his werewolf genes but Henry and the others wouldn't. Cliched though it was vampire's didn't have a reflection, it should be too busy during the ball for anyone to notice a lack of reflection. He had already set up camera's around the building, once the others arrived they could add to that and soon the manse would be a veritable fortress.

She was critically examining herself in the mirror, obviously worried about her injuries and his assumption was confirmed.

"Hopefully by the end of this week some of these cuts will have healed..Not to keep my vanity intact or anything..but it's really not the best look. For anyone for that matter."

"Most of it will have gone by then I think, but you'll have to keep that." He nodded at her bandaged wrist, "that's the only thing you'd have to be worried about, you can't take that off yet."

He smiled questioningly, "and what's strange about these locals?"

Emma was still looking at herself when he questioned her about the locals and she found glanced at his reflection in the mirror before looking back at herself briefly, only to turn away all together.

In such a simple question she found herself not knowing how to respond, turning away from him in an attempt to think up some excuse to either not answer the question or just figure out something else to say, but her words seemed to escape her.

Again she flashed to the night before, shutting her eyes and easily remembering every detail up until she hit her head against the pavement. She clutched the wrapped wrist with her free hand, not noticing that her heart was pounding terribly, suddenly thinking that it was more important to hand deliver these invitations, to make certain that only people who were were wanted showed up to the event.

She didn't seem to really fully come back from her visions of the night before, blue eyes staring blankly in an obvious daze as she managed to simply shake her head in response, trying to dismiss the question entirely.

Seeing her concern he knew what she was scared of, vampires turning up to the ball, undoubtedly taking their pick of victims. To the paranoid or inexperienced it seemed the perfect stage for a slaughter, but that didn’t happen anymore. Not since the days of Rome had vampires acted so incautiously, and what did the Roman’s care when a rebellious tribe of the natives were discovered slaughtered, vampires in positions of power made sure tales of inter-tribal feuds and betrayal were spread.

No, that wouldn’t happen now, there would be a few no doubt, but few enough of them were likely to be drained, probably just awaking feeling weak in a hospital. A mass spate of killings would bring not only the human authorities, but the vampire council into it, the council took secrecy seriously. “No, it’ll be fine, we can invite everyone then if they cause any trouble we’ll chuck them out, there’ll be plenty of room for everyone in the house, it’s massive and I’m sure some of the locals wouldn’t mind acting as bouncers for a few hundred dollars.”

Besides, it would be a good chance to identify the vampires in the town’s population. There was unlikely to be many, although he knew there were more than average for a town this size. If he was unlucky there might be a Council agent among the vampiric guests, but they would find out sooner or later and it would be better to discover and silence their informer as soon as possible. The rest wouldn’t be a problem, they rarely took notice of Council edicts until they were forced to, vampires were strongly independent.

Emma looked up at him as he seemed unconcerned with whatever it was that she was concerned about. Of course, she just took it as him being a man, and man being less interested in what women were often-times paranoid about. She couldn't really blame him, especially after the night she had, to think that maybe she was overreacting about things. Of course she also didn't know that he knew exactly what her concerns were.

"Yep…chuck them right out."

She let herself smile, pushing her hair out of her face and actually laughing at his comment for bouncers.

"Bouncers? Okay well if you're going to be shelling out a few hundred bouncers I'll just be a bouncer!"

Her smile was truer now, watching his features, still very much studying this mystery man who was willing to throw around all this money for some housewarming with the help of a girl he didn't know. The danger in it was intriguing to her. She couldn't quite place it except for the fact that she knew she wanted more.

He chuckled, looking her up and down. "You? A bouncer?"

The skepticism and amusement was literally dripping from his tones. She was covered in bandages and had a broken wrist, his reply was fully justified. Not only that but she was pretty short and looked about as capable of harming a fly as a hamster was. "No I think we can probably get enough bouncers. Don't worry, I'll pay you back for your help if you can put me in touch with the people I need to meet."

It would be good to get himself established in the town, the house was nice and he wouldn't object to coming back here once he'd sorted this out. She was intrigued, he could tell, he had to admit he would have in her place, he was obviously willing to spend a lot of money, with no seeming motive. That and his casual confiding in a girl he'd just met was at the very least highly unusual, dangerous, she obviously was drawn to that.

Not that he wasn't just as interested. There was something about her, her smile drew him in, she was beautiful. Worse than that, the heady scent of her blood was filling his nostrils, he tried not to breathe in too deeply, he didn't know just how close he actually was. He'd never had this kind of pressure, this temptation. He caught himself almost licking his lips. She was close now, he turned away from her, looking up at the foyer, "imagine what it could look like."

"You? A bouncer?

That was enough to make her laugh, rolling her shoulders in a shrug in response. At least she seemed to break the ice a little bit, that was enough of a connection for her at the moment, and the fact that he was amused with her words again made her blush.

It wasn't until he turned away from her that she realized that she had been staring at him, actually turning somewhat as well in an attempt to regain her bearings, having no idea what had come over her. She wasn't usually like this, certainly not over someone that she had just met, so this was a touch frustrating for her.

"Imagine what it could look like."

Emma took a sweeping glance of the place only to shut her eyes, his home lighting up in her imagination.

It was short lived, however. She pulled her cell phone out and went through the contacts until pulling up Charlotte's information, turning slowly to face him.

"If you want to get the list of your friends..their addresses..I'll get a list going. I'll have Charlotte come over now - she has nothing better to do, and we can figure out everything that we need to get…and I should be able to have the invitations out by tomorrow..then she can just drive me home so you won't have to go back into town.."

"Yeah... yeah of course. I'll get one for you." Of course they would all be fake, he wasn't going to commit something like that to paper, he'd contact them himself to let them know what was going on.

"Are you sure you need her? You seem to be doing just fine like this, I've got no problem with driving you home."

He cursed inwardly, what was wrong with him? It was intoxicating, her very presence almost had him on his knees, metaphorically of course. He couldn't get the image of her out his head, her bared, perfect neck, the feeling of sinking his fangs into it. But not just that, that wasn't the only attraction, there was some sort of weird magnetism going on here. He didn't understand it and he didn't like it, he didn't like the sensation of not being completely in control of himself. He would have to feed again tonight, if he didn't he wouldn't be able to resist next time he saw her.

He distracted himself with another question, "how will you get them out by tomorrow? Is there someone in town who'll do it or do you expect me to sit and write them out all night?"

An eyebrow raised after he questioned if she actually needed Charlotte, tilting her head to the side as though confused by the desire to have no one come to the house.

"I need her..trust me. She's going to have to scope the place out, too. We'll have everything sorted…she has a lot more sources like with the cleaning company and catering and everything so she is definitely good to have on your side."

Emma smiled then, though it broke into a grin as he questioned her again.

"How will you get them out by tomorrow? Is there someone in town who'll do it or do you expect me to sit and write them out all night?"

"A little touchy, are we?" She paused briefly before continuing. "Myself and Charlotte. Dynamic duo, right there. It's what..mid-day now, so we will just work on them until they're done, get some sleep, and we can be back tomorrow to check in on how everything is looking. Tomorrow we should have the company here to have everything cleaned, then it's just a process of setting everything up..that's how it will get done by the end of the week."

And that quickly the phone was at her ear, waiting for Charlotte to pick up her phone. She turned to him after a second, realizing she didn't know the address. "Oh..what's the house address so she knows how to get here?"

Sleep? That was laughable, he never got much sleep these days. It was something to do with the aging process, the other ancients didn't sleep much either. Perhaps as they gained more power the circadian rhythms of the brain were gradually overpowered. Apparently Silvan, the current head of the council didn't sleep at all. But then he was the oldest since Dracula himself, although even he didn't have the strange, almost hypnotic sway he had had over them.

"Oh..what's the house address so she knows how to get here?"

Not another one, it was hard enough resisting the scent of Emma's blood, add another girl to the mix, human though she may be and he'd be champing at the bit of his will. He smiled, hiding his true reluctance with the ease and skill of centuries of practice. "Yeah of course."

He told her. "If you don't mind I just need to make a few calls, I won't be long."

He went out one of the side doors. Nearly panting with relief as he closed it behind him, her heady scent still filled his nostrils, but at least he wasn't in the same room anymore. He moved across to the window, sliding it up, then clambered out and closed it behind him. He dropped to the ground silently, crouching on the paving of the courtyard. He looked around, there had to be somewhere near by he could feed without trouble. Glancing back over his shoulder to check she hadn't followed, he hurried off. Surely one of these houses?

"If you don't mind I just need to make a few calls, I won't be long."

With that he left the room, leaving her standing there completely dumbfounded by his response, blue eyes staring after him at the door he shut in obvious confusion. Charlotte's voice on the other end of the line seemed to draw her back and she found herself sighing heavily, walking to the front door and outside briefly, just long enough to get the address of the place.

"You're at his place now?"

Emma grinned, nodding as though she were in the room with her.

"Yep, here now. Hey listen do you think that you can come over? I want you to get a feel for the place so you and I can work our magic the rest of the week. He wants to have the housewarming by the end of the week and I'll definitely need your help to do it."

"Yeah let me just grab my purse I should be over in a few minutes. If he wants pretty much everyone in the town to be there that shouldn't be hard, how many times do we use that address list to send stuff out. Are we working on the invitations tonight?"

She found herself pacing as Charlotte spoke, opening the door to the study before plopping herself into the nearest armchair, actually surprised that dust didn't fly off of it when she sat.

"Yep. Tonight. I figure we can get them out by the end of tomorrow…it's not a lot of notice, but it will be so sudden that people will feel like they have to come. They won't know what hit them.."

Emma craned her neck, as though trying to listen for Dimitri, frowning when she didn't hear him, getting to her feet.

"I'll see you in a couple of minutes..I'll leave the door unlocked just yell for me when you get here"

She put the phone back at her side as she walked back into the hall, then toward the side door.

"Dimitri?"

He was already long gone, vaulting the wall at the boundaries of the estate with ease, there, a small, but expensive looking hatchback was moving along the road. If he moved now he could just get there in time. He stopped in front of it, head down and braced so he took it with his shoulder, the impact knocking him back a few steps but utterly totaling the front of the car.

He stood up, brushing the dust off his shoulder. His shirt was crumpled, but there hadn't been a great deal of movement between his shoulder and the car so it wasn't ripped, just pressed a good deal flatter than it was supposed to be. He walked round to the driver's door and pulled it open. An grossly overweight man flopped out of the drivers seat, only held in place by his seat belt. He was unconscious, good, he wouldn't know what had happened. Dimitri pulled the car over so it was square on to the corner of the estate wall, hopefully that would hide the truth of the collision.

He frowned in distaste, then, knowing he didn't have time to find a more pleasing 'donor' knelt down and fastened his lips on the mans neck. His fangs were extended and sank deep into his artery. Dimitri sucked deeply, pulling the blood from the man's body with a hungry force, before leaving him pale and weakened by the loss of blood. He made sure to disguise the fang marks as a cut, he didn't want a vampiric killing in the vicinity to scare Emma off. Taking his phone out he dialed the police, told them he'd witnessed an accident, then hung up. Clambering back over the wall he began to make his way back to the house.

She was confused as she opened the door that he had disappeared into, flicking the switch to turn on the lights as though to make certain that her eyes weren't playing tricks on her. No. He wasn't there.

"Dimitri?"

She called his name again, somewhat panicked at the fact that she didn't see him in the room that he'd gone into, almost reluctantly stepping back into the hallway, her footsteps seeming louder than they'd been before.

Again her phone was out, Charlotte's number dialed as she lifted the phone to her ear, moving toward the front door only to instinctively lock it. She could open it when Charlotte got there. That would work.

Where the hell did he go..

Her mind was racing as she again looked in the room, as though needing to make certain that it was empty, the phone going straight to voicemail which meant that Charlotte was on her way, but also that she was terrible at answering the phone while driving.

"Dimitri?" She called his name again, standing in the doorway to the room he'd gone into. "If you're playing some…game…I don't know why you even would but it's not funny though!"

"Emma?"

She spun around in shock, he was at the other side of the foyer, standing just inside an open door, identical to the one she was stood in. He left an expression of puzzlement on his face. "Are you ok?"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shit

She was in the room he'd just left, there was no way he could get back in that way without her noticing. He looked around desperately, there, the window on the other side of the main entrance. There were five doors of the main foyer, one double set under the stairs, and two against the opposite side walls. Thank god the entrance had been built with symmetry in mind. He went over to the window on the other side. Locked

Fuck

Well, nothing for it. Extending his fingers in a blade shape, he punched his hand through the lock at the base of the window. There was a dull crack, hopefully muffled by the closed door. He slid it up, clambered through it and was at the door to the hall in less than a second, he took another second to smooth his clothes and opened the door, phone in hand. He was bemused, puzzled as to why she was on the other side of the hall, evidently looking for him. He walked forwards, closing the door behind him. Hopefully he could convince her that she'd just made a mistake, concussion or something. He just prayed she wouldn't check the room behind him and find the broken window.

When she heard her name she turned immediately, her own eyes wide in obvious confusion as to what had just happened. This didn't make sense. She had seen him go into the room she was standing in right now, and now he was on the other side of the hallway, staring at her as though there should be no question that he was in the room he was standing in the entire time.

"Are you ok?"

Just that quickly she'd put up a wall, the fact that he was just staring at her like she was a little bit on the crazy side seeming to make her even more frustrated with the situation.

"What are you doing over there? You….you weren't there."

She crossed the hallway easily and seemed as though she were about to move past him and into the room he now stood in, stopping only due to a knocking at the front door. Charlotte.

It was obvious that Emma was working on some internal battle to decide whether or not to further investigate what had just happened or answer the door, actually flinching when Charlotte knocked a second time.

With obvious reluctance she walked to the front door, unlocking it and opening it to see her friend practically grinning ear to ear - the smile turning to concern upon seeing the look on Emma's face.

"You okay? You look a little pale…maybe you shouldn't be out like this today?" Her gaze swept instead to Dimitri, lighting up again at the sight of him. "Aren't you going to introduce me?"

He almost let out a sigh of relief as he heard the knock at the door. She really had arrived just in the nick of time although the look on Emma's face showed the struggle going on in her head.

Answer it, answer it

The second knock decided it and she moved to the door, opening it to reveal the grinning face of Charlotte. The grin swiftly changed to a frown of concern as she saw the look on Emma's face.

"You okay? You look a little pale…maybe you shouldn't be out like this today?"

Her eyes swept across the room behind Emma, alighting on Dimitri and animating as if a switch had been thrown. He could see that Emma' warning had been accurate, Charlotte's reaction to his presence was enough to tell him that.

"Aren't you going to introduce me?"

But Dimitri didn't give her time to answer, striding forward, a charming smile on his face. "I'm Dimitri, and you must be Charlotte right? Emma's told me a lot about you."

Partly true at least, and if he could keep her talking it might keep Emma off balance, stop her from really thinking about what had just happened. "I think she must simply be feeling a little the worse for wear after last night, my fault I must admit, I shouldn't have brought her out here like this..."

As soon as Dimitri stepped up to the door, Charlotte seemed to have lost all concern for her friend, sidestepping in order to get by her. Apparently she was too interested in having the attention of this new man in town.

"Oh I'm sure that it isn't your fault at all. She pushes herself way too hard all the time. And she told me that she didn't look that bad but. Let's be serious, she looks pretty bad."

Emma couldn't help but roll her eyes at the statement, turning on her heel to face them, shutting the door as she did so. Despite the welcome distraction, her eyes were still focused on Dimitri.

"So, Dimitri. I remember seeing you last night in the bar but I didn't realize how good looking you are. You know if you want a repeat of last night and want to catch me instead of Emma I definitely would buy you a drink to thank you."

The grin was back and she seemed intent on learning more about him, flirting all the way.

"Right. Maybe we should get to work instead, Charlotte. We have a lot to do before this event and I'm sure he has things to do,too."

He laughed, his eyes flicking to meet Emma's momentarily with a 'I understand now' look in them. She was irrepressible, it really was amusing just how unsubtle the flirting was. Charlotte struck him as the kind of girl who got her way by brute force flirtatious conversation, obviously not one for the subtleties of life.

Then Emma called her back and despite Charlotte ignoring her friend's previous distress she turned at this. Emma seemed to be in a hurry to leave now, obviously his stunt with the rooms had distressed her somewhat. She still looked a little off colour, despite the arrival of her incorrigible friend.

Maybe giving her sometime would be best, she might just put it down to her injuries and leave it at that. Although somehow he doubted it and he expected to hear more inquiries about it before she was satisfied. He had his own things to work on anyway, but he didn't want to completely cut himself off. "Sure, I wouldn't want to keep you," then, completely ignoring Charlotte's previous offer he went on, speaking directly to Emma, "perhaps we could meet up for a drink later?"

The look that he gave her was enough to calm her nerves at least somewhat, actually having to sigh in response to how she was acting. It was embarrassing - and the girl had no shame for acting the way she was. In fact she would often tell Emma that she should act more like her because she would have better luck with guys than she did.

Emma seemed to be trying to ignore him now, until he was speaking to her and not so much to the both of them.

"Perhaps we could meet up for a drink later?"

Again she felt the familiar flush in her cheeks, Charlotte looking between them as though upset that meeting Dimitri hadn't worked in her favor and had instead worked in her friend's.

"Sure..later. Yep."

With a stiff nod, Emma took a step forward, grabbing Charlotte's hand and dragging her away from him.

She went on to explaining the vision that Dimitri had for the place, Charlotte taking some paper from her purse to write down everything that they had to do.
