A Knight's Quest - (closed)

Conan

“Why do bad things attack when I’m sleeping!” Conan complained. “My sleep time is interrupted! It’s not fair.”

“Sorry, Foy and I were in the middle of changing watch when they attacked.” Regris replied, there was regret in his voice.

Conan picked up on the regret right away. “How did they surprise the two of you?”

Foy spoke up “Conan it is my fault I was distracting Regris. It won’t happen again.”

Conan could tell something embarrassing had happened during the changing of the watch. He also knew asking more questions would make the matter worse. So he dropped it.

Alladan came over and started checking Conan for webs. “The forest is dying. The mage, he stole its heart. That is what you are looking for. Without it all the living things, the plants will die and the animals will follow and then so will we.” Alladan explained.

“Yes” Conan acknowledged “The King told me, the evil Mage Branar has an artifact which is killing and twisting our forest. He must have this forest heart! The King told me to destroy the artifact. Does the forest “heart” look like a heart? Is it made of crystal or wood or something? I hope it is easy to destroy… not complex, like that tale involving the two hobbits and the ring. Don’t know where any volcanoes are!”

Beldan and Regris

"Thank you. You saved me from that spider." Beldan said as she worked on the webbing holding him to the ground.

“It was nothing.” Regris said “And thank you, for the arrow that killed the first spider. That saved me!” He added. Then he looked down as Beldan. He noticed Beldan staring at him and the poor innocent elf was getting an eyeful.

Alladan looked confused. "Crystal? Wood? Destroy? No, no the king is mistaken. The artifact isn't a thing it is a who. It isn't a heart it has a heart. A living breathing person. A woman, nymph. They are the spirit of life. He has captured her and is warping her magic."

He tilted his head. "Have you never heard of nymphs? She is beautiful. She lays with travellers and any willing. Her pleasure creates life. When a nymph mates....has intercourse new life sprouts up in the land around her. The more powerful the nymph, the bigger her land. Ours was one of the most powerful. She has kept the land fertile and lush."

Alladan looked around. "Now, he steals her power and warps it. He takes from her and creates dark life. He is killing the forest and the land. It will only get worse until we can save her."

Beldan was flushed, her face to the tips of her ears a warm shade of red, now visible in the rising sun. Her eyes focused on Regris' underside. He was...well endowed. Not that Beldan had anything to compare him to since she had never seen a grown male human or elf naked but she could only assume from the proportions that Regris was very large compared to a man.

Which caused Beldan to look at Foy. Size wise, the rogue was miniature. Beldan was sure she heard them being intimate and she found herself trying to figure out - how? Her eyes moved back to Regris and she remained on her knees. The task of clearing the webbing away forgotten.

"Saved you, yes. Arrow. You distracted." Beldan's mouth was on autopilot as her mind tried to imagine how the pair had fit together. None of this helped the colour in her face.

Conan

“A nymph! I have heard of them, but I thought they were just stories… not real” Conan said almost in disbelief. Then he realized what he must do. “I need to save a beautiful nymph! And make love to her to save the land! This is a great quest! This is way better than saving a princess!” Conan gasped in excitement.

Regris and Beldan

Regris looked like a Greek sculpture, all muscle and he was big, even for a centaur. Like a mountain of muscle, his chest was ripped and his biceps bulged. When he saw Beldan looking at his equipment, he thought he just found another mate. His cock knew it was going to have more fun. His erection started to grow. He didn't bother trying to conceal his huge thick erection from Beldan. When you are as hung as a centaur, there is no point in trying to hide it, and so you just flaunted it. His equine cock jutted proudly between his horse legs.

“Do you like what you see?” He asked Beldan, as he turned his back quarters enough to show off his big balls hanging beneath his powerful haunches. He was a big, potent stallion!

“Hey… put that thing away!” Conan yelled to Regris. “It is way too early for anyone to see that much cock!”

Regris looked over to Conan “What” he asked.

“This is not a centaur herd. Do your mating in private” Conan told him. “We are on a royal quest to save this land. Try to focus Regris!” Conan told him. All the talking had de-excited Regris. Beldan had removed the web so he stepped away from the elf.

“Yes, sorry… sometimes I can’t help myself.” Regris said with some guilt to both Beldan and Conan. He trotted over to the camp and started packing up their stuff.

The team

The team was off even before sunrise. Conan seemed to be in a hurry after hearing what Alladan had told him. They all saddled up and headed towards the small town of White Rose. They reached it, around noon because of their early start.

White Rose was built against a small rocky ridge which rose up from the flat forest surrounding the town. This was not by accident, as the ridge had lots of metal ores, which were mined and made into weapons, armor, and farm tools.

The Town itself looks worn with its blackened rooftops and faded granite walls. In the ridge were numerous white rose brushes, which contrasted with the black roofs. The people were usually happy and well off from their good economy. Skilled craft men and women supported the armor smithing, black smithing and farming. In normal times, the folks of the town were joyful and welcoming. However, as Conan, Alladan, Regris, Foy and Beldan entered the town, it did not seem festive. In fact there was a sense of fear among the people.

“Fun town you selected” Regris commented to Conan.

“Normally, the people are very nice” Conan replied back “The Greasy Tusk is their local pub, people will be friendlier there, trust me!”

They approached The Greasy Tusk and from the outside it looked cheerful and beautiful. Softwood and marble stones made up most of the building's outer structure. There were large curtains pulled over the windows.

After they tied up their horse in front of the place, they entered the tavern through a colorfully decorated, wooden door. It felt like they had walked into a funeral. The place was dead. The walls were packed with all sorts of travel memorabilia, most likely all collected by the owner. Above the bar were the HUGE tusks of dire boar.

“Ok, I was wrong. Let’s eat and find out what is going on in this town.” Conan suggested.

Alladan went to open his mouth to try and explain that simply bedding the nymph once wasn't going to save the land. He feared she would be almost dead when they found her. She would need tremendous caring, not a simple backroom romp as the knight was so renown to do. There was no time as all attention moved to his sister and the centaur.

Beldan was bright red and she took her eyes away to look up at Regris. "I am sorry. It was rude of me to stare - "

Conan's voice filled the air and a new wave of shame and guilt washed over Beldan. She scrambled to her feet. The camp was packed in strained silence.

They rode out but there wasn't a great deal of conversation to be had. Beldan couldn't bring herself to look at anyone. Her eyes stayed on the forest around them and she tried to keep her mind solely on the task of watching for trouble.

As they slid from their horses, Alladan and Beldan exchanged glances. Something was definitely not right in this place.

They followed Conan in. "Are you certain this is a place you know well? It appears that no others frequent here..." Alladan said, his voice low.

Evil Wizard Branar

Branar was pissed. He stared into the pool of water and watched as his giant spiders were killed.

“Boss… you waste valuable time. Just let me and my men take care of him.” The dwarf suggested.

“VODROT!” Branar yelled the man’s name in anger. But Braner knew he was really angry at the Knight and the other heroes for defeating his spiders. The evil wizard took a deep breath and calmed himself. “You may proceed… just make sure he and his friends die slowly and in a great deal of pain!”

“No problem” The dwarf chuckled as he turned and walked out of the Wizard’s chambers.

The Greasy Tusk

As Conan and the others stood at the bar, a lizardman came from the back to serve them.

“Conan, my old friend… what brings you here” The Lizardman owner hissed.

“Drinks, what else!!” Conan half joked “Bog, these are my friend Alladan, Regris, Foy and Beldan. They are helping me with a royal quest from the King!” Conan explained.

“Glad to meet all of you.” Bog replied as he shook each of their hands. “Any friend of Conan’s is a friend of mine. What will you have?”

“Your finest ale for everyone! Two mugs for me” Conan said. Bog turned his back started to fill all the orders.

“So what is going on in this town. People seem scared” Conan asked his old friend.

“What? No! Everything is fine. What are you talking about?” Bog replied as he finished pouring the last ale. Then with his back still towards his customers he dripped one of his claws into a beer and wrote on the wall “Poison!”

“Here you go” He said as he turned around and handed each of them a beer.

The party took a seat. Alladan looked skeptical of the place. Beldan nodded briefly to the bartender.

Eyes glanced at each other as the elves both registered the odd manner in which the lizardman, Bog was reacting to Conan's comments. They both were trying to figure out what was so off when they saw Bog write on the wall.

The beers were placed down. Alladan and Beldan simply stared at theirs. They both looked back up at the wall and then to Conan.

"We-ugh-" Beldan stuttered.

Alladan shook his head and leaned back in his chair. He snapped his fingers. It seemed like around them time had stopped.

"Alright, we are in a safe zone. No one can hear us and to them we appear as if we are just sitting here looking at our beers. Now - " He looked at Conan. "Poison? In the beer? In the water? What is going on?!"

Beldan put a hand on her brother's arm. "Calm. He only knows what we know. We arrived with him remember? He is the one who knows this place. Conan, why would someone poison the people here? Why would Bog say...or rather write that?"

Conan

“Wow… that is some magic, Alladan!" Conan remarked. Then he answered his question "I’m not sure what is going on. But I think Bog is being watched. I have a plan, just follow my lead and DON’T drink anything!” He cautioned everyone. Alladan snapped his finger again and time slipped back into place.

Bog was looking at Conan “Are you ok?”

“No! I’m not ok!” Conan answered. “It is our tradition, to drink from the tusks. Have you forgotten?” Conan asked.

“No, I have not forgotten… but I did not realize you wanted to do that now” Bog answered, but he had a big toothy lizardman smile on his face.

“Tradition is Tradition! No one drink yet!” Conan ordered his fellow heroes. “I’ll get the tusks.” Conan said as he climbed on top of the bar. He took a quick glimpse into the back, where Bog had come from. Then he stood up on the bar. He lifted the first tusk free. There was a set of daggers inside the tusk. He handed the tusk to Beldan.

“You know, Bog loves to tell long stories of his adventures. But if you stare daggers at him, he’ll stop. When he restarted the story, it will dwarf the earlier version.” Conan said to Beldan. He emphasized parts to tell Beldan about the daggers in the tusk and that there was a Dwarf in the back.

Conan grabbed the second tusk off the wall. Inside this Tusk was a potion. Conan handed the Tusk to Regris. “But be careful as his dwarf retelling of the story will make him cross! and he might bow out in retelling it.” Conan finished.

“I don’t get the last part.” Regris stated, as he could not follow the last hint Conan was giving. “Are you saying Bog will get angry… or there is a dwarf with a crossbow in the back!” Regris asked. Conan jumped off the bar… as crossbow bolt flew by him. He knew his cover was blown so he screamed “ATTACK!!”

A different dwarf fired another bolt at Bog. Striking him in the leg.

More dwarves came running from the back to attack the heroes. Regris popped the cork of the potion bottle. The potion smelled like a rose. He drank it, ready to act on whatever powerful ability it gave him!

Beldan took the tusk. She glanced down and saw the daggers in it. She glanced at Alladan but he was already preparing himself.

It moved quickly. Alladan didn't dare use fire in the tavern as it would end up setting the whole place alight. Instead, he sent out a blast of energy that pushed the charging dwarves back giving his friends more time and more space to fight. He then turned his attention to Bog. He ran, half crouched to where the lizardman had fallen.

"Be still. I will help." Alladan pulled Bog to him, tipping a table for them to hide behind. "This will hurt." He yanked the bolt from Bog's leg. The lizardman cried out. Alladan pressed a bandage to the wound. "Now hold still."

His hands began to glow as he healed the wound.

Beldan knew her brother was fine and moved to engage in the fight. The daggers were now in her hand. She held one almost delicately by the blade before throwing it. It landed with a thud into the chest of a dwarf. She turned and threw another, catching one in the side of the neck.

She moved through the room until she was at Conan's side. Beldan slid the remaining daggers into her belt and notched an arrow in her bow. "Be careful swinging your sword in here." She glanced at the knight. "The dwarves are short but so is Foy and you might take out Regris' legs."

Beldan fired up to the ceiling but it arced and landed in a dwarf's back. "Finesse is needed."

Conan and Beldan

“Fine advice, Fair Beldan!” Conan said in his deep booming voice. “I shall protect you as you dispatch this rift-raff” He knew Beldan was right about his long sword, but his hand axe was perfect for the bar room fight. In his other hand he grabbed a beer mug. Ready to defend himself and the beautiful Beldan.

Dwarves were rushing all around him. He hatched at one with his axe, and another was punched in the face with the mug. He heard “duck” from Beldan. He did as she asked and her arrow killed a dwarf that was about to jump on him.

“Jump” Beldan yelled and he did. Another arrow this time right between his open legs (very close to his privates!). That killed another attacking dwarf.

“BY THE FIRES OF THE SEVEN HELLS” Conan yelled “THAT WAS CLOSE”

He struck with his axe at another dwarf, but the evil thug blocked the blow with his own double headed axe. Then the dwarf got ready to slam his axe into Conan’s unprotected belly. Lucky from Conan, his beer mug punch did land below the axe blow was completed. The punch knocked the dwarf backward, but the mug shattered in pieces all over the floor.

“I’ll pay for that” Conan yelled to Bog. “My bad!”

With out a weapon, Conan grabbed Beldan and spun her to face the dwarf he had punched backward. Beldan fired her arrow and killed the dwarf!

"We are a great team!" Conan said with a huge smile. He thought it was like dancing... only there was fighting involved!

Foy

Foy was busy too. She had fired her crossbow and killed one dwarf, but then she needed to switch to her short sword. The nice thing was her sword was longer than the daggers most of the dwarves were using.

The bad news was the dwarves were stronger than her! And there was a lot more of them. So she did what rogues do. She fought with mugs, tables, chairs, anything she could get her hands on.

The other thing she did was attack the dwarves, who’s backs were facing her. Rogues were not called back stabber for nothing!

Regris

As Regris finished drinking the potion, a strong romantic feeling washed over him. The potion was a love/sex potion. Viagra on steroids! The potion would make him fall in love with the first person he saw. As it happened, his eyes fell upon on the leader of the attacking dwarves. Regris did not know it, but the dwarf’s name was Vodrot.

Regris snorted in stallion excitement as he charged at the smaller stocky figure. Vodrot pulled out his poison dagger, but Regris arrived too quickly, bowling the dwarf over. Vodrot smacked his head hard against the floor. The blow dazed him. Vodrot also lost his dagger as Regris picked him up in a bear hug.

“Where have you been all my life” Regris said to the evil dwarf. “Let’s get some fresh air!” Regris suggested as Vodrot squirmed weakly to get out of the hug. Regris went out the back door of the bar into an alleyway. “I love you!” Regris said and tried to kiss Vodrot right on the lips. The dwarf tried to bite the love crazed centaur’s lips.

Regris pulled back in time to prevent a bite. The centaur smiled “Oh you like it rough. I LOVE THAT” He said as his massive erection grew even harder between his legs. “I’m going to FUCK you good and HARD” Regris promised.

“NO… NO… LET GO OF ME, YOU CRAZY CENTAUR!” Vodrot said slowly, still dazed from the knock on his head.

“Those are not our "safe" words!” Regris said to Vodrot.

“What” Vodrot asked as his mind was still not thinking straight.

“You are a great actor! Awesome role playing” Regris complimented him.

“NO… NO…” Vodrot continued to say.

Regris sat his hind quarter down as his massive erection appeared through his front horse legs. As he hugged Vodrot with one arm, he ripped off the dwarf’s pants with his free hand.

“Do you want some lube? Or just a hard fuck?” Regris asked.

Vodrot answered the second question “NO”

Regris thought Vodrot answered the first question. "Ok" he agreed “But my cock is pretty big” He warned Vodrot. He placed Vodrot’s ass on his cock and slowly, but forcefully entered the dwarf’s ass. Using both handed to hold Vodrot, he used him like he was masturbating his cock. Using the dwarf’s ass to stroke his mighty cock.

Vodrot was in total shock at this point. The massive throbbing cock in his ass stimulated his own cock. His dwarf cock grew hard as Regris pounded his massive cock into his ass. It was wild to watch. In a fairly short time, Vodrot's cock grew extra hard… and then cum spurted out. Vodrot sprayed cum against Regris’ front legs and horse chest. Having completely dominated Vodrot, Regris felt he could cum now too. He released an impressive gusher. Squirting huge streams of cum into the dwarf’s ass.

“I love you!” Regris said to Vodrot as he kissed him. The dwarf was so out of it he did nothing this time. That was when the rest of them came out of the bar and saw them!!

All of Alladan's attention was on Bog's injury. There was no time to worry about the fight and he could feel his sister's presence and knew she was fine. She was fighting given the feel of her pulse. He liked the comfort of always knowing she was alright or in any danger by their connection.

Beldan found herself fighting with Conan in a way that was like they were dancing. He moved her as he needed and she focused her shots where he faced her. As one they moved and dwarves fell dead around them.

She faced Conan, smiling. "We are indeed a great team." She bowed her head to him. "Thank you sir knight."

The main part of the tavern was silent. The bodies litter the floor. Alladan helped Bog up. "Foy. Beldan. Conan." He frowned a little at the sight of his sister so close to Conan. "Where is Regris?"

All eyes moved to the door and the sounds that were drifting in on the wind.

Beldan gasped in shock at the sight of the centaur kissing the dwarf. Adding to the scene was the fact that Regris was erect and inside of the dwarf. White drips were falling from the half naked dwarf. Beldan paled and then blushed profusely. She had never seen anything like the sight before her.

Alladan looked truly and utterly confused. "I-I- Regris...what are you...doing to that dwarf?"

Love undone

"I-I- Regris...what are you...doing to that dwarf?" Alladan the love sick centaur.

“This dwarf is my sun! My moon! My starlit sky. Without him I dwell in darkness. I love him! He has enchanted me, I stand helpless against him.” Regris answered Alladan. Then he looked at Vodrot again. “Come with me… I grow hard again. I need to worship you. I love you so much!”

“Nooooo, not again” Vodrot groaned weakly.

“Regris stop!” Conan said walking over to the big centaur and getting ready to give him a good shake.

“I cannot stop the beating of my heart? It pounds for this dwarf” Regris countered.

“He was going to poison us! He wanted to kill you!” Conan reminded Regris.

“Death, next to love is a trivial thing. His touch is worth 10,000 deaths.” Regris replied.

“OK… I’m going to knock you straight!” Conan said pulling back his fist.

“WAIT!” Bog yelled, stopping Conan. Bog had just limped into the alleyway. He limped over to Conan “He drank a love potion. He needs to drink the antidote. It will cure him, but there are side effects”

“Like what?” Conan asked.

“His memory of the recent past will be bad and he might be haunted by what happened” Bog explained.

“I think that is better than watching him fuck this dwarf to death and then him committing suicide!” Conan reasoned.

Bog handed a clear jam sized glass jar filled with liquid to Regris. There appeared to be a small cracked heart floating in the liquid. “Drink this” Bog told Regris. The centaur grabbed the jar and took a swig. The love spell was broken instantly.

“OH SHIT” Regris gasped. He abruptly stood back up and the dwarf fell off his cock. “How did he get on my…my…” Regris could not even say what he was thinking.

“Regris… you were under a spell.” Conan explained. “You might not remember but you saved us! And with this dwarf still alive, we can get some answers!” Conan stated. Conan went over to the dwarf.

“OK… what is your name?” Conan asked Vodrot.

“I’m not telling you anything” Vodrot said weakly.

“Shall I have the centaur drink another love potion?” Conan asked. Vodrot eyes grew large with fear.

“My name is Vodrot” He told Conan.

“We know you work for the evil wizard, Branar. Where is he keeping the nymph?” Conan asked.

“Fangdor Keep” Vodrot answered.

Conan looked at the others “That is where the King told me to go as well. It is a crumbling keep perch atop windswept heights of Barren Mountain” He explained.

“He knows you are coming! You will all Die!” Vodrot warned them.

“Shut up!” Conan ordered Vodrot. “Does anyone have any other questions, or shall I gag his mouth shut?” Conan asked.

Beldan was utterly shocked as Regris began to proclaim his love for the dwarf. How did he know the dwarf? How was it possible that he loved him when they had been attacking them?

Her eyes went wide as the centaur proclaimed he wished to worship the dwarf again. Her eyes fell on his growing erection and she suddenly put all the pieces together. Regris and the dwarf had been having sex.

Beside her, Alladan was simply staring. This was a waste of time. They needed to focus and think with their heads not their genitals.

“A love potion? Why in the heaven’s did you give him a love potion Conan?” Alladan proclaimed. It had been the knight who had given the bottle to Regris in the first place.

They watched as Regris was given the jar and he drank it.

Beldan’s heart broke a little for Regris as he realized what was going on. As Conan saw to the dwarf she moved to stand beside Regris. “It was quite the strong potion. Conan is right though, we have the dwarf now and we can question him.” She laid a gentle hand on Regris’ arm.

Alladan focused on the dwarf and Conan. “Fangdor Keep. It is quite the stronghold. Tell us some of the ways to get in.” He was not nearly as commanding or intimidating as Conan was though and the dwarf laughed. “You think I am going to help you get in and attack my master? You scrawny little elf. He is going to string you up by your ears and let the dwarves take turns shoot you!” He laughed.

“He is too powerful. You won’t stop him. We are just the start.”

Conan

“I did not know it was a love potion.” Conan replied to Alladan question about handing the potion to Regris.

“That is my fault” Bog said. “The daggers are there in case of robbers, the potion because some of my customers want help with finding companionship. I only use a drop! Regris drank the whole bottle.”

“Bog! That is messed up” Conan scolded the lizardman.

Beldan walked over to Regris “It was quite the strong potion. Conan is right though; we have the dwarf now and we can question him.” She placed a gentle hand on Regris’ arm.

“Thank you Beldan. I’m still trying to process what I did” Regris said with a great deal of shame.

Alladan asked his question to the dwarf. Who did not answer.

“Time to tie him up” Conan said. He gagged the dwarf and tied up his hands. “We’ll take him along with us. He might be more talkative once he realizes the Wizard is certainly going to kill him! Evil wizards always kill people that fail them. I think it is in the evil wizard handbook.”

Then Conan turned to Bog. “Bog, you were a great adventurer. You are needed again. Pull this town together. Get the people to start defending it. Once we recover the heart of the forest, we might be on the run. This would be a good place to make a stand, but the people need to be ready.” Conan advised his old friend

“You are right. You made it easier now that all the dwarves are gone. I’ll get the mayor to help” Bog agreed.

“Great” Conan acknowledged.

“Ok Vodrot… you’ll be on Satan with me. If you cause any trouble… I’ll have the elf turn you into a toad.” Conan explained.

They all mounted their horses and headed out. They departed White Rose in the early afternoon. They made good progress, heading towards the Barren Mountain. The group was silent for most of the trip.

Regris did trot next to Beldan for a while as he express his guilt and shame for raping the dwarf. He said “Centaurs are a proud and noble race. We don’t force ourselves on other races. There was that wedding long ago, but that was caused by the wine. All centaurs have been told the story and all agree not to drink wine ever!”

“Now I screwed up with this dwarf. I feel so bad” He told Beldan.

It was sunset as the sun’s rays had just passed over the mountains when they stopped for the night. The air was getting cool as they had climbed in altitude. They were still only in the foothill of the Barren Mountain, but if they climb as far tomorrow, they would need to wear jackets.

“Look at the high ridge over there” Conan told the others. They could see an old crumbling keep. It was all black in color. The famous central keep was constructed of black granite. It was still in good shape, a testimony to the strength of the keep’s walls. But some of the small building that butted up against the keep had started to fall apart. It was not a large fortress, but its location allowed it to control the mountain pass and make it almost impossible to take.

“Fangdor Keep” Conan told everyone.

“How are we going to get in?” Regris asked.

“I was hoping our rogue could tell us a way? Conan asked Foy.

“I know a way, but no guarantee, the Wizard may have sealed it up. But worth checking out tomorrow.” Foy stated.

Beldan listened to Regris as they rode. She felt terrible for him. "Regris, it was a potion and not you that did it. You did not screw- well I mean.." She turned red. "That is a euphemism for intercourse isn't it?"

She shook her head. "It is magic. You cannot be blamed for what magic made you do."

At the camp, Alladan set about making a fire. "It is going to be cold tonight. Stay close to the fire and each other for warmth." It was an idle remark, meant as advice without thought of the implications.

He looked at Foy. "We can start with your entrance and if not, we keep looking, keep trying." He gave her a nod.

Beldan set the horses close to the camp, tying them to the trees. Their large bulk so near by would help with heat as well. She sat next to Regris. Once more she placed a gentle hand on his arm. "Try not to be so hard on yourself. I do not think you acted dishonourably."

Food was cooked and passed around.

"I will take first watch." Alladan said. "Beldan, second. Conan, third. Regris, fourth and Foy, last."

Evil Wizard Branar

Branar stood up from gazing into the pool of water. There was a deep frown on his face.

“This is no longer funny!” He said to himself. He had watched as Vodrot failed to poison the knight or any member of the group of do-gooders. To make matters worse, Vodrot had been captured.

“This ends tonight!” He told himself as he got ready to send his most deadly monsters to kill the heroes.

Smoking and Standing Watch

Conan had tied Vodrot to a tree. He had also tied a rope around one of the dwarf’s legs and tied that to another tree.

“When you stand watch tonight, make sure he does not get away.” Conan told everyone else. Everyone but Alladan prepared their bedrolls. Then everyone but Conan went to sleep. Conan instead walked over to Alladan and sat next to him.

“I can’t sleep yet.” Conan told Alladan. Conan pulled out a pipe and started to push some smoking tobacco into it. While he was doing that he asked Alladan “I have not gotten to know you yet. Please tell me about yourself! Oh and tell me about your sister too!” Conan asked as he finished with his smoking pipe. He offer some tobacco to Alladan, as the elf started to tell his story.

Leneira was exhausted. He was taking too much and every time he twisted her gift it was as if he was twisting a blade into her body.

"Hello my sweet little flower..."

The sound of his voice made her want to wretch.

He moved behind her. "I fear I am going to need a little more from you. You see, the things I have sent were too easy to defeat. I fear it was because I was too gentle with you. Took too little. Not this time..."

Leneira gasped as she felt something hard brush along her slit. "You see....I think I need to amplify your power. Here now. Bite down on this." Branar shoved a stick into her mouth to bite.

She was shaking down. He adjusted her hips a little and then there was something large being pressed against her ass. She cried out and bit down hard on the stick. He shoved it into her unceremoniously. Her ass clenched around it, holding it in place. Leneira was shaking, in pain and in shock. That was when Branar began to fuck her. It was deep, punishing thrusts. Leneira was crying. Sex was supposed to be pleasurable, it was her orgasms that brought life. He was grunting and thrusting. A hand gripped her hair, the other pinched a nipple.

Yet her sex still dripped and as he came the combination of fluids dripped into the pool. Branar watched, smiling as instead of the dull green energy of life was produced a thick purple energy appeared. He laughed and pulled out of her. With great effort he wrangled the energy. "Oh my sweet, this is delicious..." He laughed and twisted his hands. The energy changed and he sent it off. "Those will do nicely."

Branar lifted Leneira's chin and removed the stick. "I am going to leave that in you." He gripped the cheek of her ass. "Let you get used to it. You know it is used for centaurs. Mimics theirs cocks. You could take one quite easily..." He laughed and left the nymph weak kneed and sobbing.
-----
Alladan watched as the land around them seemed to shrivel and warp. "He is killing the heart of the forest." It was stated almost matter of factly.

He looked over as Conan came to sit with him.

"About myself? I am Alladan, druid. My twin, Beldan is master of the bow. We travel together and with Foy and Regris." For a moment Alladan thought maybe Conan had gotten hit in the head.

"You mean you want me to tell you where we came from? Oh." He saw the strange look Conan gave him.

"Our parents died when we were young. We wandered a long time until a human druid found us. He taught me what I know and taught Beldan to shoot and track and hunt. Then when we were in our youth he started to look oddly at Beldan. One night he came into the room, likely not thinking we still shared a bed. I killed him when he went to touch Beldan. She does not know. She thinks it was all a big accident, that he was coming to get us to show us a rare night blooming plant." Alladan's tone was the same through the entire story. He showed no remorse, no sadness or anger.

"We have travelled ever since. We teamed up with Foy and Regris, hiring out our skills. We saw the decay and knew what it was. We were on our way to petition the king when you came into the tavern talking about a quest. So we chose to help you."

Conan

When he heard that Alladan and Beldan parents died, his heart sank. It was an all too common tragedy of the times. It was hard for him to imagine the pain and hardship they had gone through. They had been all alone in the world. It seems they got lucky when a druid had helped them. But that relationship had ended horribly as well.

“Alladan, I’m sorry to hear about all your hardships. Your history must make it hard for you to trust people.” Conan observed.

Alladan looked at him as he took a puff on his pipe. Conan seemed wiser and more knowledgeable while he was smoking a pipe. The elf mage was wondering about his last comment.

“Let me explain.” Conan said “All of the most important relationships in your youth, let you down. Your parents dying, not their fault most likely, but they could not be there for you. Then the Druid tragedy, someone you trusted, turned into a predator.” Conan explained.

“These experiences make it hard for you to trust people.” Conan explained. Alladan said nothing, so Conan continued “For example, last night you acted like the older brother. You felt your sister Beldan was not capable of taking care of herself. So you came with a dagger in hand to protect her.

I’m sure Beldan feels great about you having her back. But in that case, you were really being a bit over protective. I was not trying to hurt her. I had her best interests at heart. I wanted to make her feel good.” Conan explained “I understand these are just words, so I will make an effort to prove to you I can be trusted. I will do this by never lying to you, acting with the best morale intentions and openly explain why I take certain actions. It will take time, but I think in the end, you will see I can be trusted.” Conan said. His own statement shocked him. It was such an odd thing for him to say. He wondered why he had said it.

The Evil Wizard Branar

The magic energy from the nymph was like an elixir of pleasure. Branar felt the energy turning in his body. It was very powerful, more magical energy than he was able to contain for any length of time. He needed to use it or it would leak from him.

He walked up to the top of the crumbling keep and looked out over the moon lite landscape. It was almost a perfect night for his minions to attack. He wished there was just less moonlight, but that could not be helped. He cast his first spell.

Near the keep, in the forest, was an ancient battlefield. The place was evil, stained by the death of a 100 combatants. The haunted, twisted trees block out most of the moonlight and it gave the air a thick, eerie look and feel.

In the ground, the corpses of the dead soldiers lurched as if hit by a great blow. Their bodies began to twitch, their arms and legs started to move. They acted as if they were puppets attached to strings. The undead soldiers started to dig themselves out of their shallow graves. Soon a rotting hand appeared above the ground. Then another… and another, the dead pulled themselves out of the ground. Many still had the swords and weapons they held when they died. Other had no weapons, but their hands and teeth. The group of zombie soldiers assembled and moved directly towards the heroes camp!

Barnar could feel a connection to the horrific undead he had called forth. It was the same connect the Nymph felt when she created life. He knew instinctively, he could become something like an anti-nymph. He could draw power from death. The more death he caused, the more power he could collect. He did not know how to collect that power yet, but he knew there was a way.

There was still a lot of still energy in his body from the nymph. He cast his second spell. The caves on the barren mountain side suddenly erupted with the sound of flapping wings. The amount of creatures he had called forth from this second spell even surprised him. With the undead soldiers and his flying attackers, the heroes would never survive. An army of 100 armored men could not survive this kind of attack, there was no way 5 heroes could survive.

Barnar descended back into the keep with an evil smile of his face. He would sleep well tonight knowing there was nothing that could stop his plans!

Conan

Conan took another puff on his pipe as he looked into the darkness. Alladan was still thinking about what he had just said about trust. Conan could not believe he had said those words as well. This quest had changed him. He had always been a “good” person. He had always treated people with respect. But he also liked to have fun. He loved women… and he never forced himself on them. But he knew some women had been hoping for a longer term relationships and he might have taken advantage of that.

He had also been a heavy drinker. He realized he had not had a single drink on this quest. His saddle bags were full of Tarragon Gin, a very high alcohol drink. He had planned to take a few swings while on watch, but never got around to it.

“Never got around to it!” He said to himself and sighed. He knew that was a super lame excuse for a drinker. Drinkers figured out a way to “get around to it”. He had changed. Was it the responsibility he felt due to the quest, or the people he was with? He looked into the darkness for answers.

Instead of answer coming back he saw something. It was like a black cloud moving in the moonlight. The cloud was moving towards them.

“Alladan… what is that dark cloud?” Conan asked. Then both of them heard a shrill screeching noise erupt from the cloud.

"BATS!!!!" Conan screamed.

Thousands of bats were headed right towards them!

“Trust people?” Alladan looked very confused as if the concept of trust was not something he considered or perhaps even understood. He did, in theory but he didn’t really feel any particular way about people except Beldan. He knew his life would not be complete without his sister. He was sure of that. She helped him in so many ways that he could not imagine not having her to turn to.

“I acted that way because I sensed Beldan’s pulse and heartbeat increase which means danger. I thought she was in danger. I did not think it was from you until I saw there was nothing but you that could be making her heart race like that.” He seemed confused. “We are connected and I didn’t know what was happening to her so I came to her aid. I don’t think that was being over protective. How can one be over protective?” Alladan eyed Conan. “What do you mean you wanted to make her feel good?”

Beldan was cold and kept inching closer to the fire, closer to Regris and Foy. This place felt off to her. She didn’t like it at all. She wanted to sleep before Alladan woke her for second watch. She wondered if Regris would mind her laying against his back leg for warmth.

She didn’t get to consider it for long.

Bats!!!

The cry brought her to her feet and her bow at the ready.

“Find cover! Get under something!” Beldan ran towards her brother and Conan. “Go! Get Regris protected, his is too big to hide over a rock!” She shoved Alladan towards Regirs.

He ran and slid to a stop at Regris’ side. “I am going to put a shield up but I don’t know how long it will hold!” Alladan looked concerned. “Fire, arrows...something. Come on!”

Beldan looked at Conan. “Take cover. I am going to set some arrows on fire and take shots. Hopefully we can scare them away.”

She ran the fire and began tearing at her clothes. She wrapped the strips around the ends of her arrows and then produced a small bottle. She poured a bit of the oil on the covered arrows and began to light them, one at a time as she shot them off.

Notch, light, shoot. Repeated over and over again until the oil ran out. Beldan watched the sky light up as the bats caught fire. “Too many! I am out of arrows and oil!”

In truth it was good as she had very little left to her shirt now. The underside of her breasts was visible but she was focused on what she was going to do next.

Alladan had his hands up and ready to cast his spell once the bats drew closer. He could see that some were burning and falling to the ground but there had to be hundreds, maybe thousands of them. It felt futile.

A single puff can cause an explosion

Beldan and Alladan were heroic in defending everyone else. Conan was using his sword and hand axe to swipe at the bat close enough to reach. He killed several but there were SO many! His smoking pipe was still in his mouth as he fought. He saw Beldan start using flaming arrows and that reminded him of something he had recently been thinking about. But it did not come back to him.

Regris grabbed his bow and started firing it rapidly. It was amazing to watch as each of his arrows killed a bat. There was a pile of them around the camp site, arrows sticking out of the dead bats like they were kebabs on skewers.

Foy had her back against a tree… and was trying to cover Conan’s back with her throwing daggers. When a bat got too close, she’d kill it. But then she heard screams. She looked over and saw Vodrot tied to a tree! His neck and face covered in bats. She ran to save him. Stabbing the bats off him. But it was too late, the bats had bitten through his neck. The evil dwarf was dead.

Conan continued to swat at bats as he talked out loud. “What was I talking about… Alladan parents dying, trust, my vow to win his trust, how this quest has changed me,…” Then it hit him. “ALCOHOL!!” He screamed.

“Now is not the time!!” Regris said back to Conan about his request for a drink.

“NO… FOY IN SATAN’S SADDLE BAGS… GET THE BOTTLES!” Conan yelled.

Foy knew what Conan was thinking. She ran to the horses. They were being attacked by the bats too. Satan was defending, himself and the other horses, but there were so many bats! Foy killed the bats on Satan and grabbed 4 bottles out the saddle bag.

She took a bottle and threw high up, right at the densest part of the cloud of bats, she followed it with her throwing dagger. The dagger shattered the bottle, spraying alcohol everywhere. Conan grabbed his smoking pipe and threw it into the alcohol mist and the resulting fireball was so powerful and intense it knocked everyone to the ground. It also started raining dead bats everywhere. The explosion had kill a lot of bats… but there were still more coming.

Foy tossed an alcohol bottle to Alladan and Beldan. “Kill the rest of them!” She said as she went to save the horses.

It was chaos in the dark. The bats that were on fire casted strange shadows as they fell. Alladan was watching where they fell. The dead foliage might go up like dry firewood if one of the bats landed wrong.

A call for alcohol made everyone pause for a heartbeat but Beldan smiled when she realized what the plan was. Alladan caught the bottle. Beldan lit an arrow on fire.

“Throw it!”

Alladan hesitated.

“Throw it!!” Beldan screamed at her brother. He lobbed it into the air. Beldan watched it, waiting for the perfect moment.

She inhaled and then she saw it and as she exhaled she let the arrow loose. The bottle shattered. Fire engulfed the mass of bats and they began to fall from the sky. Beldan listened to them cook, feeling satisfied.

They would soon be out of fire. Alladan ran to Foy and the horses. He mustered a wind that pushed the bats back some but they were need a more permanent way to deal with them. For now, he pushed them back while Foy killed the ones that were already attacking the horses.

Beldan ran to Conan’s side. “What now?”

Conan

Beldan ran to Conan’s side. “What now?” She asked

Conan mind was working and he smiled at her question “There is only one thing left to do! Blow my horn!” He said with a huge smile.

“Blow your horn?” Beldan asked somewhat confused. Had she been more experienced in the world, she might have picked up on Conan’s double mean. Blow his horn could mean give him a blow job... or play music on his knight's charge horn.

“Foy, get my horn from the saddle bags and have Regris blew on it as hard as he can!” Conan yelled. The halfling tossed the brass horn to Regris. The centaur caught it and took in a huge lung full of air.

“AS HARD AS YOU CAN!” Conan yelled.

The centaur blew as hard as he could. A horrible shrieking noise blasted out of the horn. Suddenly, all the bats slammed into trees, each other, and the ground. It was like they could not see where they were going.

“Quick everyone too our horses!” Conan ordered. He threw water on the fire to put it out. Their small camp site was dark, except for the moonlight. Regris had big lungs and was still blowing on the horn. The bats seem wholly and completely confused. Conan hopped up on Satan and the team of heroes rode off into the night.

Regris finally stopped blowing the horn.

“What happened” He asked Conan as he galloped next to him.

“Bats use sound to find things in the dark.” Conan explained. “Your horrible horn playing was a high enough frequency to “blind” the bats. Great job!”

“How did you know I could not play a horn?” Regris asked.

“Just a good guess on my part” Conan laughed.

Foy took the lead “Follow me” she said as she took them down a narrow side path. It took them about an hour in the dark, then they came across a small temple. The temple was missing part of its roof and one wall.

“What is this place?” Conan asked.

“The secret way into the keep.” Foy explained.

Conan got off his horse and looked inside the temple. There was a wooden floor panel which lifted up to reveal a steep set of stairs. The stairs went sixty feet down into the ground.

Conan also noticed small candle lantern, a heavy striking stone, and a steel rod the size of a large dagger.

“How about we go down the scary staircase in the morning?” Conan suggested.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

“Ok we can set up camp again. Only a small fire this time. I don’t want those bats coming back!” Conan said. Too bad... because a big fire would have been useful against the zombie soldier attack!

Beldan was so confused at Conan's words but Foy appeared and Regris blew the offered horn. She hopped onto her horse, glancing back to ensure her brother, her twin did the same.

Alladan didn't hesitate. He ran and practically threw himself into the saddle of his horse.

The ride was long. Beldan kept checking behind her but there was no sign of the bats. Alladan had gone back to contemplating Conan's words regarding his sister. He was certain he was not overprotective. He didn't understand what that meant.

No one seemed to like the look of the temple but Alladan seemed particularly agitated by it. Everyone was happy to wait until light to investigate.

The small fire was built. Alladan found a place as far from the temple as was safe. Beldan checked on him and then came to sit close to Conan.

"He feels something is wrong." She frowned. "He isn't good with emotions so to see him agitated...it worries me." She turned her eyes to Conan. They were full of worry and the hint of tears.

Conan

Conan saw Beldan’s eyes filled with worry and she was about to cry. He gave her a big hug. Pressing his big strong body against her's. “Beldan, please no crying. We are going to make it through this. Alladan will be better in the morning.” Conan said as he finished the hug, but he kept his hands on Beldan’s shoulders. He looked into her eyes and said “We are the heroes the kingdom needs. We have come together to save the forest and the kingdom. We just defeated a huge cloud of bats! That is how capable, gifted, and skilled we are!” Conan said.

Then he lowered his voice. “I heard more from Alladan about how you grew up and the hardships you have been through. I told him I thought he was being over protective of you. I think he has a hard time trusting people. I vowed to never lie to him, and act with the best morale intentions, so as to earn his trust. I would like to earn your trust as well.” Conan said. “So I take the same vow!” Conan declared.

“And I must tell you right away, you are so very beautiful! I have met a lot of women and few compare!” Conan complimented her “I must also tell you” Conan said “I have feelings for you. I wish to be intimate with you.” He said.

Beldan was surprised by his statement. Part of her enjoyed and was happy about what he had said. They sat still and just looked into each other's eyes. Conan however was a man of action! He probably should have waited longer for her reply, but he took her silence as concurrence. He leaned in closer, their lips touched.

“I must kiss you” Conan said and then he did kiss her!

Beldan put her head on Conan's chest as he hugged her tightly. "He is sensitive but he doesn't show emotions. He isn't like you or I."

She frowned a little and looked away as Conan mentioned their past. She was confused as she didn't necessarily find Alladan overprotective. They had simply had a bad lot in life and their connection meant...well it was just very strong. "I am glad you will not lie to him - or me. Alladan does not take well to deceit." Conan kept talking. Beldan grew more confused the more he spoke.

She? Beautiful? Feelings? Intimate?

He was a known womanizer and she imagined he used similar words to woo women to his bed but Beldan couldn't help but feel...giddy at the idea that he found her attractive and wished to...

She was warm. Her eyes were on is face. He had stopped talking for a moment and they simply looked at each other. Her heart pounded in her ears. She feared Alladan would wake but hoped the day had taken its toll on him enough to keep him under.

I must kiss you.

Beldan opened her mouth to reply but was met with Conan's lips. A small gasp of surprise escaped. It took only a moment though, the surprise fading and Beldan kissed him back. She had never kissed anyone before. Her pulse was racing. She naturally moved closer, leaned in towards him. Her nipples grew hard, rubbing against her shirt.

"Oh."

It was the only word she could manage when the kiss was broken. "Kiss me again, please." Beldan's arms slid around his neck, her body shifting so she was kneeling now and pressing against his chest.

Conan

"Kiss me again, please." Beldan said almost begging Conan. His gaze collided with her hungry blue eyes. He looked long and hard at her. Leaving no question as to what he wanted. Beldan swallowed and did not look away.

“Are you sure?” Conan asked.

“I am” Beldan said. Conan kissed her again as his body reacted to her. The bulge in his crotch swelled. His pulse went faster. Beldan took his breath away. He dropped to his knees to be at the same level as her. They were still kissing.

“Ohh” he rasped. “You have me so excited” Conan moaned as he reach up and started to undo his shirt.

Foy

Foy was having trouble sleeping. The fight with the bats had her keyed up. So she rested with her eyes closed. She listen to Conan and Beldan talking. When she heard them kiss… she knew how this was going to end. Alladan was going to be interrupting them soon. She decided she wanted to help Beldan experience the joy of love. She also want to visit Alladan! She quietly got up and move over to where Alladan was located. The elf had move pretty far away, as the temple bothered him. Foy could no longer hear Conan or Beldan.

Foy's history was interesting. She was from a respected halfling farming family. She had been raised to be a proper, respectful, farmer’s daughter and some day a good farmer's wife. Foy felt totally trapped in this role, her parent’s had picked for her. She rebelled and left the farmer. She wanted to go on adventure, to live life the fullest!

She picked up a few skills to help with adventuring such as tracking, lock picking, and using a bow. Learning to use a bow was how she met Regris. The two became good friends and went on a few adventures together. In some ways, she was in love with the big centaur. But they were too different in size to be real lovers.

Then they met Alladan and Beldan. The brother and sister elves were a great addition to their twosome. The elves focused the adventure more on protecting the forest and chasing off bandits, but the missions were still adventures. During one encounter, Foy had been injured and Alladan had used his healing magic to make her well again.

Blame it on the Florence Nightingale effect. Foy fell in love with her caregiver. But Beldan and her were good friends and dating her brother would have caused a rift. So she never acted on her feelings. However, with Beldan busy with Conan, she thought tonight might be a good time to visit Alladan.

“Alladan, wake up, it’s Foy” Foy said in a whisper. She gave the elf a small nudge. Alladan’s eyes opened.

“Alladan, I know you are stressed by the temple. I’m here to make you feel better. Just like when you made me feel better, when I had that injury” Foy explained.
