A mortal in the Band (Closed)

"I have answered what I can, but he is still curious if this is a regular thing since we are not using drugs or making rock music, he feels that sex, drugs, and rock and roll will not really cover it."

He grinned up at her

She just laughed and shook her head.

The myths of mortals. It is more like sex sleep and singing... at least for me.

He chuckled and ran his hands over her sides, "Since we don't have to run naked in the moonlight to get a euphoric high, I think your way is the best."

He looked up at her, "The scars on your back. How can they still be there? Isn't our vampiric bodies supposed to heal even old scars?"

Perhaps if they were not aided by enchantments upon items used.

She looked away for a moment.

The one who enchanted various things for him has been ended but...

He took her hands in his own

"I am sorry love, I can not remember any of this, but if you wish to not talk about it, you don't have to."

He had no recollection at all and when Alex mentioned it, he realized that there was a total gap in his mind about what had happened as well.

Many of the scars were older than this "lifetime" however faintly they may have been and this time around she had been a "missing person" for a seeming short time. The mage in their enemies employ was ended soon after she was found. Luna still kept the artifacts and battle scars from ripping the mage to pieces.

There is nothing really to say. For days or perhaps weeks I was trapped by your brother... Luna ended the mage he had in his employ who created his abusive torturous equipment. I was found rescued whatever you wish to call it and here we are together.

He cupped his hand to her cheek

"And here we are together, after long years apart and short years together."

He smiled, "Now we both know and you don't need to tell it to us ever again."

She smiled and pulled a blanket around them hearing the others arrive in the rest of the bus.

He pulled her closer, kissing her neck softly, "It's strange how they try to act like they don't know what we are up to and will even kill somebody who might want to interrupt us. I can't remember this happening before."

It has been a long time since you were back in a way to remember like this and be this completely you.

She snuggled close and smiled.

"Hmmm, true. Seems like Alex was more than just a doppelganger, maybe he had some of the family DNA inside his makeup."

He slowly stroked over her back, fingers tracing the tattoos on her body

I had not thought of that. I had figured he was more spiritually receptive.

She smiled feeling safer still warm and happy drifting to sleep as the bus began to move.

He held her as she drifted off to sleep, feeling the same drowsiness overtaking him, signaling that the new day was breaking. He closed his eyes and sunk into the dark slumber that was the day-sleep.

He woke up to find them in the same position, but with clothes tossed onto the bed, the clothes smelled of Luna and Omen. "There are other beds you know!"

He could hear laughing from up front and grunted his annoyance, he carefully moved to not wake Eden and cleaned up the room, before closing the connecting door and starting the shower.

She finally woke up and threw on a robe for a bit walking out seeing Omen asleep on one of the chairs and covering him up. Walking over to Luna.

And more problems?

Nope

The dead cold tone simply said none you need to worry about. Patting Luna's shoulder she rested her chin on here werewolf "sisters" shoulder and watched the road with her as silent support.

He was sitting at a table, sheets of empty music paper in front of him when Eden passed him to the front. He was busy composing or maybe since the song came to him in a dream, it was more like copying a song. He filled the first page and slowly went through it, humming the tune softly to himself, making small adjustments as he went along, and only pushed the page aside when he was happy that it was as perfect as he could get it.

He turned himself sideways on the bench and leaned his back against the window, pulling another page closer, starting to work on the piano accompaniment of the song.

Omen moved to sit across from his elder brother who would now eternally look younger than him. A fact that made him smirk a little.

"What are you smirking about brother?"

Omen's smirk turned to a grin, "That I am looking like the older brother, maybe I should fight you for the right to be the older brother, then you can look up to me."

He laughed softly, "You are free to try little brother, I haven't pulled your tail in a very long time."

They shared a grin, then Omen slid the page with music over to himself and glanced at it, "I heard you muttering to yourself, it sounded good." He looked at the page a bit longer, "This is good, but I don't see all of what you were humming."

He tapped the page he was working on, "This is one part of the rest."

Omen slid the page back, "Piano from the looks of it so far, I could see the tempo and beat that you would need and so would Luna, that leaves only Eden's part."

He nodded, "Yes, I want to finish this and let her hear it, she will come up with the words that the melody requires."

Omen pointed over to them.

Luna cliff dives into the darkness but she has always been able to pull her back. They could not be any close if they were actual blood sisters.

"Even strangers can create stronger bonds than blood. They have been together much longer than I care to remember."

He wrote a few more notes, humming softly and then looked at Omen

"And what do you do? You don't like getting wet, so you don't accompany Luna on her cliff dives. How do you release the tension now that our world is covered in cameras?"

I don't mean literal cliff diving brother. Luna has pushed herself to be able to kill even innocent mortals without remorse when needed.

Omen shook his head.

It's hard sometimes not to join her in the bloodshed but she is far better at hiding it than we could ever be.

He stared at Omen for a moment, "Innocent mortals? That is a pool nobody can drink from and believe that they can come back from without consequences. We both know of somebody who tried that and never returned."

He turned his attention to the paper, writing down a few more notes, "Let's just hope it never comes to that. But that doesn't answer my question. What do you do to release your tension?"

Omen grinned at him, "Bar room brawls and sex. Works wonders."

They both chuckled

When our brother has twisted them like that poor girl from earlier. Luna terminates their suffering. Don't underestimate that little gypsy songbird of yours she can barroom brawl when she needs to as well.

"There's a difference between mercy killing and murder. And I am quite certain that the little songbird can kick serious ass, even without her vampire strength. But then again, what are you guys doing in a bar in the first place? Don't tell me that the leather and chains have gone to your head and you actually play biker bars."

He grinned at Omen

She will have us play almost wherever we are asked to play.

Omen chuckled.

When we are not on tight tour schedule.

He grunted and shook his head, "Typical Eden, always looking for ways to entertain and make a bit of cash on the side."

With a few more strokes, he put down the pencil and pushed the paper over to Omen, "There's the rest that you wanted to see."

Omen read through the music and nodded, "This sounds good, more modern."

He chuckled, "Alex does know his music. An interesting host this one."
