Almost spoilers for Harry Potter, skip this if you don't want to see them.

I have to agree with Severette.. Professor Snape is evil in a yummy yummy way. Alan Rickman does a bang up job (pun intended ; ) ) but I prefer the Severus Snape that's been living in the back of my head since I read book 2.

I haven't seen the new movie yet, but I saw the trailer when we saw Shrek 2. One seen made me all mooshy inside. He goes striding all evilly into a classroom, wand waving in the air and the windows go SLAM! SLAM! SLAM! as he walks past so that the classroom gets all dark and dungeonny. That made my subbie soul sit up take notice.. I think it's from the scene when he takes Lupin's Defense of Dark Arts class.

Scenes I'm so looking forward to in the next movie.. The Occlumency lessons. How Domly and stuff. Torturing poor innocent Harry. I think I need some occlumency lessons!

Anyway, I heartily agree about Sam -- and, as rr seems to be not speaking to me again (hmm, wonder what could have brought that on? ), I'll just continue to be even More annoying by suggesting my alternative conclusion about his person, as being, perhaps, John Cleese-like instead. (Why do I picture rr tall and lanky? dunno. That old av with the droopy socks? yes, I Will keep bringing that up.)
