A new FICTIONAL "Litogether" tale?

First of all, hello and welcome to all of the newer visitors to the Story Ideas board! May your visit here always be rewarding and fun!

That said, welcome back to any and all "old reg" that may be peeking around the boards and hello to old friends.

I am wondering if it would be a good idea or a waste of time to try to start up a new chain story of Lit friends all meeting and hooking up. I'm thinking the use of a screen name AS the name would be used at least in the start of introducing someone to the story...and then you can choose your real name or a character name from there. (IE: In walked Sirhugs looking just as I imagined him. ~*~yada yada, fill in more story here~*~ Then, just as I was about to climax *David kissed me full on the mouth.) *Not his real name.

If you are interested in having your likeness used within the tale please feel free to post here giving your basic stats. (Age (if you wish), sexual orientation, would your SO show up to the Litogether or would you want it written that you're cheating, basic body description/looks, and any other info that could be deemed helpful.)

If you're an author and would like to try your hand at a chain story and/or want to be a character, please post and let us know!!

If you think this idea is stupid, feel free to voice your opinion as well but please let me/us know why. I enjoyed the previous effort on the old chain, however it did die a horrible death with maybe 3 or 4 submissions to it.

For those of you that may not know, a CHAIN story is similar to a Sexual Role Play except you're responsible for writing an entire 750+ word submission for Lit yourself. You'd write up one whole chapter.

I'm down if for no other reason than I need a Chain Story for the Survivor Contest. I meant to participate in the last one. Hopefully my computer will start being nicer to me in the next few weeks.

Good to know. I'm game, too. So the bio is needed for us both... But I think a chain story does need more than two authors, right?

I'm sure it does. I'm not sure what the minimal number is though I'm guessing five or more. It seems this was a popular one the last time it came around I was kinda shocked that it didn't become an anual thing.

Well, the chapters died after three or four, I think. We had a potential twelve. I know Tex was busy with the military, but I think some people found it to be too much work once their turn was coming up.

We had me, a new gal back then (LipsOfAnAngel), and a new guy that had hardly posted in this board write up a chapter. I don't remember if there were more.


Maybe more people will see this thread and like the idea?

I'd have to check dates but I believe I was busy with the military as well. I think the other thing that kills chain stories is the perception that there needs to be a specific order. Which while legit and good is also detrimental.

I think we would be best suited to make a that merely has a group of rules. It must include people already listed. It must fit whatever local we've all agreed on. It stops after say thirty chapters/days. So we have some limits on it but not much and then just first come first serve.
