a new year's bash

- She closed her eyes as they danced, placing her head softly on his shoulder as a soft sigh escaped her lips...

.. it seemed she wasn't doing too well..

Why was she bad at this? -

Sam

They danced a short while. Sam felt good holding her and she moved easily with him but something was missing he just couldn't quite put his finger on it. He paused looking down in her deep green eyes trying to find the answer. She looked back at him, was she expecting something from him that he couldn't define.

Suddenly he said it. "Lets get out of here."

- Her eyes widened, without another word she nodded and waited to see where he would take her -

Sam

Her green eyes widdened as if they were welcoming him inside and Sam seeing her nod led her to the door. Somehow he felt he didn't need to ask her if his place was ok after all she had wanted to see it.

"It's only a couple of blocks from here we can walk."

His hand slipped easily into hers and they soon found themselves at his front steps. He felt something at his feet and knew it was Cleo. Picking the cat up he held her out.

"Persha I'd like you to meet Cleo, Cleo, Persia."

He chuckle and unlocked the door and the three of them went inside.

He turned on the lights and Cleo went right to the goldfish bowl as if to count fish and dream. Sam lit the gas fireplce and took some books from the couch and put them on the coffee table.

Make yourself comfortable he said softly I'll make us some tea if you like got some herbal.

Somehow he felt she'd like that and he headed for the kitchen. "Oh, the bathrooms on the right he said on the way ... next to the bedroom.

- Pesha smiled and nodded, she curled up on the couch and became mesmerized by the dancing flames.. -

"Your place is really nice Sam, and thank you for inviting me"

Sam

"Your welcome Persha"

He watched her curl up on the couch she semed so at home here the fire danced in her silky hair and her short skirt riding up on her thighs exposed her creamy smooth skin. she looked so delicate almost transparent in the firelight and Sam thought of a butterfly with gossemeer wings lying in the flickering sunlight.

The tea kettle was singing and he went to the kitchen and poured two cups of lemom chamomile tea. Returning to the couch he offered one to Persha and as she sat up he sat along side of her.

"Penny for your thoughts, he said seeing a pensive faraway look in her green eyes."

- She took the tea with a soft smile as she turned to look at him, tilting the cup up to her soft lips -

"I was just thinking about how nice it was to be here with you Sam, and that we should find out more about eachother"

Aaron

Swallowing what pride I had, I stepped up to the woman who'd been dancing. She'd turned down one guy already, I hoped to god I was more her type.

I further hoped my nervousness didn't show when I said to her, "I don't have any cute pickup lines, so why don't I just say, 'Hi, I'm Aaron."

She was nice and tall, a good fit for my 6'4" frame, and it was a delight to take her in my arms and dance with her

The song playing was an old one by Elvis.

This feels so right. Being in Frank's arms. We are a perfect fit. I keep thinking to myself, "How can this be?, we have only just met?" But this is a night for fun, and I put the questions right out of my head!

Frank looks so very handsome in his slacks and sport coat. The tie, could be used for tying something up? Now where in the world did that thought come from!!! "I've been alone for way too long", I think, and chuckle to myself.

He traces his strong hands along my back. One coming to rest just at the small of my back. The other drawing lazy lines along my spine, giving me goose bumps.

We watch each other as we dance. Maybe looking for something in the other's eyes? I pull closer to Frank, leaning my cheek against his shoulder. I can feel his warm breath on my neck. My breasts feeling the heat coming from him.

I think this night might be full of promise after all.

Frank

I could feel her heartbeat as we snuggled close together to the music. I thought we ought to try to synchronize our pulse rates as we moved to thre music. When the song ended she looked up at me and I kissed her forehead, right there on the dance floor in front of everyone.

We agreed to stay there waiting for the next song, as she told me a little about herself, and i liked what I heard. A widow, available, and here, and so nice and warm in my arms. I was sorry she lost her husband, but glad that ther new year brought her out looking!

Micki

I wondered what I was doing here as I returned to bar and ordered another drink. There had just been something off with him. Perhaps I was overly cautious, working with the mentally ill can do that to a person I figured. The next guy was more proffessional looking somehow. I found a spark of recognition of something in his eyes as he introduced himself. I smiled, patted the bar stool next to mine, and said, "I'm Micki, and believe me I've heard all the lines about slipping a Micki."

Sam

As he sipped his tea Sam was quiet not knowing quite what to say. He looked into the fireplace and watched the flames dance and then looked at Persha seeing those same flames dance in her emerald eyes. Suddenly he knew what he wanted to do. He gently took the cup from her hand and setting it alongside of his on the coffee table he took her chin in his hand and guided her lips toward his. His other hand found her breast under her blouse and her delicate nipple turgid against the cloth. He held her like that for a moment and then pulled her mouth into his in a kiss that said more about him than any words could.

- Warmth. Passion. Intrigue. She got all those feelings rushed upon her at that moment, just from his kiss... and from all the feelings placed behind it. She moaned underneath the kiss, becoming lost in his presence and his touch.

She found herself pushing into the kiss, sinking her body against his as she pushed her breast against the palm of his hand. Her own hand reached under his shirt and slipped up his chest, feeling the softness and the smoothness of his chest... it was ..

... perfect... -

I inwardly breathed a sigh of relief when she smiled and invited me to sit next to her.

She introduced herself as "Micki", then said something about a bad joke about "slipping a mickey." As I sat down, I told her, "Honestly, it never occurred to me."

A swift silence then slammed between us. Instantly, I thought, 'God, I am *so* bad at this!'

Finally, out of desperation, and before the silence could drag on too long, I asked, "Please forgive me if I'm wrong, but do you feel like as big an idiot being here as I do?"

Once again, I realized there was at least *one* idiot in the room, and if I'd look in a mirror, I'd get a good look at him. I'm a rotten dancer, but as this thing *was* a dance, and fortunately, the music was beginning to slow a little, so I at least had a fighting chance of not looking *really* foolish, since the butt-wigglin' sort of stuff just ain't me, and fortunately, I have had *some* ballroom-type dance lessons, I got right back up from my seat, held out my hand and in my politest voice, said,

"If you aren't ready to kick me where I'll *really* feel it, would a pretty lady such as yourself stoop to dancing with a stumble-tongued fool?"

Sam

She felt so soft against him and after breaking the kiss he was content to just hold her one hand on her soft breast and the other behind her around her slender waist. They watched the fire together as Cleo curled up at their feet purring... or was it Cleo that was purring.. Sam wasn't sure only that he felt a warmth that he coudn't define at least not at this moment. And a kind of protectiveness toward this lovely creature in his arms.

- Pesha looked up at him with a soft smile on her pale face -

"Are you content Sam?"

Sam

He answered her with a kiss, soft and gentle just brushing her lips at first and then feeling the moistness circling languidly touching and releasing, slowly exploring. He was enjoying this quiet encounter relaxed in a sense of their being together was meant to be and there was no need to rush for fear of losing something that would forever be theirs. All he had to do was give himself permission to let it happen naturally.

Micki

I wasn't sure I was ready for another spin around the dance floor, but as my hand took his I felt warm, whether from a sudden feeeling of relaxation, or the drinks I did not know. "As long as we can agree not to feel like idiots?"

The music is slow and it was easy to fall into step with him. At the end of the song I softly whisper a suggestion that we get out of here and find a more comfortable place to celebrate the new year. I blush faintly as I find myself thinking of how comfortable my body feels fitted against his.

Aaron

For a moment, Micki hesitated. I thought, 'Damn, you screwed this one up. Go on home, farmboy.' Then, a slight smile crossed her face, and her hand came up and gently laid in mine.

I don't know what it was, but when her fingers touched my skin, suddenly I felt a warmth suffuse my body. Looking down at Micki, the strange look of vague wonder on her face told me she was feeling something, too.

Before she got up from her seat, Micki said, "As long as we can agree not to feel like idiots."

Relief swept through me. Regardless of whatever this connection was, the fear that I'd offended her still lingered.

Smiling as we went to the dance floor, I replied, "You haven't seen me dance yet."

Thankfully, she laughed at that.

On the dance floor, the music had slowed considerably. Watching her with the other guy, I'd seen her push him away a couple times when he'd tried to get close. I was afraid for a moment she'd do the same with me, but was pleased when she stepped in close on her own.

I could hardly believe how good she felt against me. It'd been a while since I'd had a woman this near, either clothed or otherwilse. It was something I realized I missed, a lot.

While I was wondering what to do after this dance, the song ended. As the next tune started up, Micki leaned in to me, and I lowered my head so she could whisper in my ear.

My cock hardened in my jeans right there on the dance floor as Micki said, "Wanna get out of here and celebrate the new year someplace more comfortable?"

For a minute, I just stood there. I hadn't expected that. Well, I'd hoped, but hadn't expected it quite so quickly. While I let my head straighten out the jumble inside, I watched as a blush crept up Micki's face, accompanied by sort of a sheepish grin. It was so cute and sexy, and she felt so good against me, I couldn't help thinking what she'd feel like without the barriers of our clothing in the way.

When my brain kick-started itself again, I put my arms around Micki's waist and said, just a little louder than she'd suggested it, "Where did you have in mind?

I just about melted as he kissed me on the forehead! His lips were soft and firm.

I told Frank about being a widow. He didn't seem put off. Sometimes that happens, I guess I am young to be thought of as a widow.

The music began again, something soft and jazzy.

As we danced I felt the heat coming from our bodies. I was lost in the sweet notes of the song, being held in the strong arms of a man. It had been such a long time.

In my mind I can see us dancing alone. I look up into Frank's eyes. We are thinking the same thing. "Frank, let's get out of here and go someplace where we can get to know each other a little better."

There's no turning back now. I think this will be a night to remember.

Frank

ithout saying a word, I led her off the floor. Collecting her things, we walked out arm in arm, into the lobby of the hotel where the bar was located. I quietly asked if she wanted to stay here, or her place or mine?

Leah

"Let's stay here. I am sure we could get a room."

Did that just come out of my mouth? I am really jumping ahead here!

Frank walked with me over to a soft chair in the lobby. I sat as he went to the registration desk.

Coming back to me with a key card in hand, I stood. We walked arm in arm to the elevator.

Frank

As soon as the elevator door closed I took her into my arms and kissed her. She felt wonderful in my arms and i needed her. What a way to start a new year and a new life!

I looked at her and smiled. She had a cute demure look on her face, and I just had to kiss her again.

So much we needed to find out about each other, but one of the important ones was to check out the chemistry between us, and so far it passed every test. We reached our floor and went to the room. I opened the door and she started to walk in, but I held out my arm and restrained her. She looked at me in surprise, when I stooped and picked her up and carried her over the threshhold and into our love nest, and kicked the door shut behind us.

I carried her over to the bed and I sat with her on my lap. We kissed again and again as we laid back, with our arms locked around each other.

I murmured "I'm so glad we met"

"There are several hotels nearby," I pause briefly wondering if that would be comfortable enough or too foriegn. At the same time I wondered if I dare invite him into my home. I could feel his lips brush against my neck as he whispered his answer. My knees felt weak as I let my hand settle in his as we seem to glide into the shadows.

The rest is a blur until we are at the room. The key card slides smoothly and the door opens. I flip the lights on and look around. A deep jacuzzi tub adorns one side of the room. A large bed is in the middle, a balcony on the far side of the room, a bathroom, minibar, and a large screen TV facing the bed.

"There are several hotels nearby," was her breathy reply to my question. The color in her cheeks was different from the girlish blush earlier, and the glint in her eyes told me she was warming up in a hurry.

Momentarily, I wondered if an invitation to my place would be too bold, but quickly decided that neutral territory would be more appropriate. I was beginning to get a little hot and bothered myself, and with that arousal came a sort of bravado.

I leaned down close to her ear and heard a gentle gasp as my breath touched her neck. Resisting the sudden desire to kiss that lovely skin, I whispered in her ear, "Let's go." I then reluctantly released her from my embrace and stepped back, once again offering her my hand.

A sigh escaped Micki's lips when her hand touched mine. I must admit, just that simple act, at that point, was more permissive and suggestive than if she'd thrown all her clothes off and lay spread out on the floor.

We left the party without looking back, and I think we walked to the hotel. I don't remember who paid for the room or whose name we registered in, but in a flash, we were standing before the door, running the card through the door lock.

When the lights came on, a myriad of possibilities presented themselves. I was pretty sure the big TV was going to go unused, we'd both drunk enough for a little bit that the bar probably wasn't going to be needed for a while, but the bed would probably get a fine workout, I *definitely* wanted to get in the jacuzzi with this woman, and the balcony had potential, if we decided to let our exhibitionistic tendencies run wild.

But for the moment, I had all I wanted right beside me.

As the door clicked shut, I gathered Micki into my arms once more and pulled her in close. Once hand ran slowly up her back and into her hair. My other hand worked its way to the small of her back and I bent down and kissed her.

Here's a comparison: If what we felt was a warmth when we held each other's hand, my lips on hers were the sun. The connection we'd felt earler was a *whole* lot stronger right now.

And she felt better melded into my body than ever. It was almost as if we were mating pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Her curves slid into mine almost perfectly. The curves on the outside felt wonderful against my hands. I felt myself getting hard as I thought about what the curves on the *inside* would feel like.
