Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: 2nd Gig, for the second time.

Sometimes, story movers are required and are all that can be produced. Either way, the story goes on.

Ghost in the Shell is a great series, but they'll never top the movie. The second movie, I'm sorry to say, sucked. It was good... but not in the true spirit that Ghost was created for. At least, that's what I think.

Um, not sure about this, but are you up-to-date with Sita and Brod? If so, then yes, you did get everyone.

I agree, Ghost in the Shell is an incredible series. As for the movie, which do you mean? The straight-up Ghost in the Shell or Solid State Society?

That would be the one with the Puppet Master? The being who had been created within the Net and went looking for the Major to merge with her?

I only loosely watched Ghost in a Shell.

Yep. It was created as a Manga in 1989 first and the movie with The Puppet Master started up the entire Ghost in the Shell animated series. Made in '95, I believe. One of the first Animes to ever use computer technology too. They were quite proud of that fact.
Then came Innocence. The two Stand Alone Complexes were supposed to be independent of the films and set in an Alternate Universe to both Oshii's films and the manga. The third movie (Solid State Society) was based on the TV series, though.

and to answer Khan's question, his leg and arm are immediately obvious, his eye looks mostly normal, unless you look close enough to notice the clicking and motion under the lens.
