A pirates life for me: Episode II (ooc)

*sits back and enjoys this show* this is great! any one want popcorn?

LOL, you've taken to my grinnies!! Muhahaha!!!!

Yeah... been stressful since I got on here. Anyway... got anything else you want cleared up? Have we cleared that up?

I think we've cleared this up, and I can't think of anything else at the moment that needs to be cleared up.

And taken your bloody "grinnies" back! I don't need them, damnit! :D

GAH! *shoots the stray grin*

LMAO!! I'll have some of that popcorn, or don't the actors get any?

Sweet Jedi. But keep in mind what I said before if she ever clues in that you are a cyborg. I would think I made Larinya smart enough to figure it out.

I can accept that she smells him out when there aren't nearly as many scents floating around that could potentially confuse her and/or while Harvey is a few feet away. Besides, it's not like he'll keep the fact that he's a cyborg a secret forever, nor will he keep the fact that he's a salesman a secret forever as well.

Anyways, it's late, way past my bed time. Good night, Wolfsister.

Night Jedi....

Please don't forget that Larinya has been a cat for her entire life. She doesn't do things the way humans do. For her, scents are just like pictures. She can only become confused when she scents something she has not before. It cannot matter how many things she smells, she can catalogue them individually as easily as we can catalogue the miriad of images we see every day. Please, keep that in mind.

Yeah, I saw the first reference to my character as a cyborg. Unfortunately, there is little history not immediately related to this incident, but related nonetheless, i.e. mistakes like that have been made in the past, not by me.

Ever seen the anime called Ghost in the Shell? If you haven't, then you should; it's a kickass anime. Anyways, the difference between an android and a cyborg is that an android is operated by an AI, thus does not have the same intellectual capacity of a cyborg, which is not operated by an AI, but by a living person's "spirit," or as Ghost in the Shell calls it, a "Ghost."

The issue of cyborg vs android has evolved quite a bit in the last 20 years it truly is fascinating. But ghost in a shell would be stretching the definition. Truth be told a purely mechanical being is an android or gynoid and a cyborg has organics.

Ghost in a shell treats those that were once human as cyborgs regardless of having any organics, and the question it raises on the issue of soul is truly compelling and may prove right eventually.

Any how just a fun fact I picked up while reading an article some time ago. Androids are male robots where gynoids are female robots since these are literal translations.

Also... erm... cats: I thought that Ren and everybody else was still sitting. Its only Kali and Jedi's charries moving.... I'm confused...

In all fairness Jedi is the one that started Gen walking around like a drunk. I simply had her say she was drinking to much and should go. Jedi then put her walking around the room.

The key thing is there is an ORP rule being neglected. One some one states something in the IC thread your to work around it and not question it. The specific example: is Player 1 walks into a bar. Player 2 says nice hat. Player 1 can not now say I'm not wearing a hat. Player 1 instead takes off the hat and waves his hand around it twice and the hat disapears in a puff of smoke before he says "I'm not wearing a hat."

Any how we are getting bogged down with details. Now admitedly I am not a careful reader, but I don't feel I need to be. Work with what the other players say if you can, thats how I work.

When I put Gen in motion, I had assumed that she was already in motion, i.e. leaving the table so she could go sleep off the alcohol she couldn't handle.

*nods* duly noted.

My plan was for gen to wait til Ren said she should go, but that's because Ren said I should be next to him in the bar in a pm before my first post. No way you could of known that, and honestly its such a small part of the story I don't care, I was just making an example.

So lets get this drafting scene over with as few edits and possible and move on.

I agree, but unfortunately, I'm waiting on Ren to grace us with his presence and answer the question I had posted a little while ago.

perhaps repost the question since its now buried behind a very dull discussion.

I'll do just that, but first I would like to point out that Ren has to actually be online in order to answer the question, which he hasn't been since 7/28/2008 so, yeah...you get the idea.

Anyways the question is: is it obvious that Ren has bionic parts or are they desguised to look natural?

No it began "Scooby Doo where are you!" I mean I can't even picture Shaggy saying "Ren where are you" I mean seriously jedi what type of opening would that be?

(Sorry had to, but now I got a theme song stuck in my head. Consider it self punishment.)

I hearby pronounce you King of Lame Jokes. Congrats, cats.

*Dons crown* Ba ha ha ha! Now I can legitimately marry into the British Royal family and my plan will soon be complete!

You do realize that the British Royal Family has no real power anymore, right?

Not the least bit true, your just looking at the wrong kind of power.

Don't forget fame, fortune, and land ownership.

What good will that do you? You'll have the paparazzi breathing down your neck, government officials examining you account records, and various politics wasting your time. It's not like you could order anybody's head chopped off or make any kind of decisions that have any affect on the government; you'll basically be a figure-head.

No I wouldn't be a figure head that's what the main family is for. Any how I don't have time to explain the remaining twelve steps to you right now but trust me as soon as I am in the British Royal family you'll start seeing them in action.

They're behind the scenes, Jedi. The commonwealth all have their own heads of state and government, but we still look to the Royals for international legislations and stuff like that. She's got the entire Commonwealth to look after too... and that's a lot of countries. After all, we still have a Governor General. Unfortunately, we're all so adapt at making our own decisions, that we almost never need the Queen to step in. I really don't think they have to be at the forefront in order to have power.

Oh yeah and Kalika: I'll post soon (honest!)

Well, that just goes to show how much I know about the British form of government.
