Best thing to do.. Use a tranquilizer gun.. Pick one out of the crowd at the mall, shoot him, and take him home.. Just convince him it's 'ball' season..

Wouldn't dating be much simpler if it was that easy.

I've got another "first date" tomorrow night......we'll see if a tranquilizer is needed.

I'm surprised that no one has give this advice yet; ask for their number instead and call them when you say you will. That way you can be sure to contact the ones you want to talk to without worrying about weither they will call or not.

As for why men do it... don't make this a gender thing. Women can be bitches just as much as men can be bastards. Each person, male or female, has an individual reason for being an ass which can't be generalized. Just ask assholes why they act the way they do and you'll get a million and one answers...

hey that sounds like a good experiment. Capture a few assholes in their natural habitat (for example smoke-filled bars, strip joints, or Walmarts) and study them for the roots of their assholeness. Mmmmm shock therapy...

Definately not making this a gender issue Zerg. I realize that both men and women have their issues. But since I'm a female and I'm dealing with men ending a date with "I'll call you", I just wanted to get the male's perspective as to why some say it and yet then don't call. It doesn't piss me off that they don't call because it's not like I've invested more than a few hours, I'm just really curious.

And yes, I could call them but I'm an old fashioned kind of girl and a coward.

I sound like such a whiner.....I really am just curious about the dating experience from the male's point of view.
