Good morning all and Cookie ,thanks for the link ..my grandson should love it ...If he gets done bein mad at me for taking his chips away he snuck into for breakfast...:D ..I swear that child would keep pringles in business for years to come ..

LMAO I actually MEANT Coke..cause thats what I drink but just know from workin there that Pepsi owns KFC , Taco bell and Pizza huts as well ...so they popped in my head 1st lol...how much does it cost anyways to have stock hun?..curious..

That is why on the rare occurance I go to any of those, I order water. I don't really care for Pepsi... It is too sweet, and doesn't have the bite to it that Coke does.

Well, the stock I have is through a mutual fund, it is managed for a slight fee, but they do a good job. It is diversified, and all. I haven't purchased any individual shares....

awwwwwwww I seee and i agree about the taste thing as well..

altho i was kinda hooked on vanilla coke there for awhile too ..now it's just reg and not that C2 crap ..i hate all this fuss about 'Carbs''..never hurt my grandparents and they lived to ripe old ages...

Dracoa says Cherry coke is da Bomb!! I prefer reg classic Coke:D

Hope that everyone is having a great day well here is part to to the story i wrote the pther day hope everyone enjoys it

Waking up early on Saturday July 3th I go outside and get the grill ready for today’s bbq setting up the generator and plugging int all the cold chafing units for all the cold salads and foods than filling the large stone bbq pit with apple chips and charcoal. I go inside and start to bring out the prepared food that I made up last night, the coleslaw. Potato salad, and all the dips and salsa’s also bringing out the chips. Working quietly as everyone is sleeping, filling up the refrigerators then going back in and pulling the meat out and seasoning it so I can start to cook. The menu is baby back ribs, hamburgers. Sausages and hot dogs, and on the side for the heartier appetites I have NY. strips and t-bone steaks in the reach-in cooler.

I hear our friends and Cookie starting to move around so I set up the coffee and donuts and sweet rolls, before I go outside and check out the charcoal to see it I can start the ribs, I put the ribs on the grill and lower the top so that I can smoke the ribs to perfection. Now my time is spent cooking and setting up the food. The apple chips sending a wonderful sweet aroma through out the lighthouse as the smoke floats softly towards the open windows. I bast the ribs with a homemade bourbon bbq sauce. Then closing the lid again letting the sauce melt into the ribs. Than lifting the lid again I start to put the burgers, brats and sausages on to cook all the tables are set and food is ready for our first annual bash at the Lighthouse.

Everyone starts to come out to enjoy the sun and the beach and the bbq, everyone goes over to the ice tub and grabs either a wine cooler or beer and some even make mixed drinks. Cookie starts up the music and the games. Everyone is laughing and having a great time, Sue brings me over A beer and telling everything looks and smells wonderful just as i open the grill and letting out a big blast of apple spiced steam. Slowly everyone starts coming over and asking for something to eat. NC comes over to me smiling I bet you didn’t make my favorite burger, I turn to him and hand him a bourbon burger and ask what type of cheese does he want as I start laughing. Then I place some of the hot food into the steam table and holler to everyone to help themselves.

The day flows along and before we realize its almost time for the three masted schooner to sail by the lighthouse and start the fireworks show,.everyone goes over to the front of the lighthouse sitting on benches and chairs and some even on the ground. The signal is giving for the show to begin the beacon of the lighthouse beacon flashes red, white and blue, then the schooner come out and it blasts four sky rockets int o the air with a bang and a flurry of colors. Then a recording of a boston pops music starts playing echoing throughout the cove as the fireworks explode in array of shapes and colors and different images. Ever the wooooooo’s and ahhhhhhhh’s were echoing as each set of fireworks exploded. Some of the big bangs shook the ground and you could see the barges slip backwards for the next two hours the sky was lit with brilliant colors and the air was filled with laugher.

Then everything went silent, everyone thought the show was over then the 1812 overture blared out of the speaker just as a all the blasts started everything was going off in a row, was the music blared out into the darkness. Just as the song was ending the schooner cannons roared out, firing the guns out into the black waters sparks smoke billowed out of the cannons, as the music died and then a thunderous round of applause. The beacon of the lighthouse flashing around with the American flag waved out over the waters as the speaker asked everyone to bow their heads and say a prayer for the safety of out men and women fighting to keep us safe and free.
 
HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE i HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD A GREAT 4TH OF JULY AND HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAS A FANTASTIC DAY TODAY. HOPING THAT ALL THE FIREWORKS WERE A GREAT TIME AND ALL ARE SAFE. ALAO HOPE THAT EVERYONE WHO HAD FAMILIES OVER OR WENT TO THEIR FAMILIES THAT IT WAS A GREAT TIME HUGS AN DKISSES TO ALL THE LADIES AND HANDSHAKES TO THE GUYS
