New surroundings?

Life's been interesting. Had a down just yesterday but we're getting over it. Otherwise life's been on the up side.

my heart goes out to you all..

i have 3 cats of my own..
the baby is adjusting to life here very well.. the middle one is being a class A brat ...the oldest is happy as long as she has a place to sleep and eat.

I think our dogs took the cat's passing as hard as Shadow did.

you know. i think they do .. in all honesty.

my sister lost her dog to an asthma attack a few years ago.. the vet told her to let the other dogs smell him before she buried him.. not sure if it helped.. but it sure helped her deal with the loss a bit better knowing the dogs had their own sense of closure.

The puppy has had the occasional moment today of looking for the "other" dog. The adults all pined and keened like nobody's business yesterday. But today they're quiet but not as active as usual.

My 11yo is living with my parents while I'm gone, and we're both hating it. But it's only for another couple of months until school is out. Then we'll both be moved to our new town.
